Luxury semi-detached chalet Chinaillon, Le Grand Bornand, French Alps. 1 hour from Geneva. Ideal for both winter and summer holidays, with wonderful views of the ski slopes in winter and Alpine meadows in the summer. Village has fabulous shops, restaurants, creche & tourist info. Winter has a fantastic snow record, skiing on/off piste, snowboarding and cross country skiing, 2 ski schools. In the summer relax on the sun trap balcony, with fabulous mountain views or sample the many activities available locally and excellent walking and cycling (gentle or challenging). The Tour de France regularly comes through. There is mountain biking, paragliding, pony trekking, climbing and swimming at the pool in Le Grand Bornand. Visit Annecy and relax by or swim in the lake. Fully managed by English speaking company, who prepare the chalet beautifully for your arrival. English duvets/pillows. Linen and towels are optional, if taken beds made up on arrival with white Egyptian cotton linens.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the chalet for 1 week (7 nights) in UK Pounds. Saturday to Saturday as standard before Feb 1/2 term, Sunday to Sunday after. £50 reduction for any 2 weeks booked together (does not apply to special offers). Rental price includes bed linen, towels and local taxes. End of stay cleaning included. Extra cleaning, babysitting, shopping service available, payable locally. All ski weeks reduced from £600 per week.
Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday January to February half term, Sunday to Sunday for rest of ski season. Saturday to Saturday rest of year, but can be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Please note that smoking is not allowed in the chalet and pets cannot be taken into Chalet. We use this as our holiday home it is beautifully furnished and fully equipped as a home from home. It is suitable for children, we have 3 of our own!! Portable stairgate, travel cot, wooden highchair, steam sterilizer and bed guards.

Coast/Beach
Swimming Pool at Le Grand Bornand, with 3 pools, slide and safe toddler pool/area. Annecy Lake is 40 minutes drive, with plenty of facilities for swimming, sunbathing and watersports.
Skiing
In traditional French ski village of Chinaillon, 8 mins walk, 3 mins car. Great creche for children, (will accept children with disability - contact them directly to discuss needs) and 2 ski schools.
Fabulous Alpine restaurants, some of which can be accessed by non skiers. Great snow record from mid Dec to late April.
220kms of pistes, great on and off piste, snowboarding and cross country skiing.
Travel
Geneva is less than 1 hour's drive. Hire car, taxi or coach available.
Easy motorway drive from Calais about 520 miles.
We recommend that you have a car.
