A modern, well equipped studio apartment in an excellent location for cycling or walking in the summer and skiing in the Winter. In a quiet and peaceful corner of Allemont village in the vallee de L'eau D'Olle below Alpe D'Huez, the apartment has a private and secure 200 sq.m. garden which faces south and has beautiful views over the surrounding area. There is also a secure storage shed in the garden which can house skis, kayaks and bikes. There is ample parking outside the apartment and local facilities are very close. The village has excellent sports facilities - in the summer there is an open air pool, tennis courts (free), climbing wall and a large lake with watersports centre (sailing, windsurfing and canoeing). In the Winter there is easy access to the slopes using the free ski bus. Local bar/pizzeria and pharmacy are 300m, local SPAR supermarket is 500m and other local facilities are 700m (including a post office, tabac, bar/restaurant and tourist information).

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable either for 3 friends, a couple, or a couple with 2 children over the age of 5.

Outside
The secure garden is a major feature of the apartment and is accessed by double French windows onto a sun patio. The garden is south facing and enclosed by a 7ft high hedge and is very private.

Skiing
Very good access to skiing. Free ski buses stop just outside the apartment complex and take you up to either Oz or Vaujany in 20 minutes. Both resorts give fast access (15 minutes) by cablecar to the Alpe D'Huez mid station, which offers 320 kilometres of skiing in the Grandes Rousses area. A second resort, Les Deux Alpes is also accessible within 45 minutes and offers Summer skiing from June-August.

Travel
Nearest airports are Grenoble (45 mins), Lyon or Chambery (1 hour 30 minutes) and Geneva (2 hrs 30 minutes).

Distances
Bourg D'Oisans - 10 minutes.
Grenoble centre - 35 minutes.

Booking notes
£150 deposit on booking, with remainder payable one month before travel. Additional £100 damage deposit payable with final payment, which will be refunded after apartment is vacated, subject to cleanliness check.
