'La Touche', is our 4 bedroom luxury traditional stone farmhouse & is only short drive from Dinan's busy town centre, the home is surrounded by beautiful countryside & is a perfect location for exploring this relatively un-spoilt corner of Brittany. We are only 2km from our local village of Plumaudan with its bakery, shop, pharmacy & 2 traditional Breton bars. Within 30 minutes drive you could be enjoying sandy beaches with great water sports, golf, cycling, walking & horse riding this holiday can be as relaxed or active as you wish! The feel of a rural farm location - views from the bedrooms are stunning, with many additional features such as a private pool & paddling pool for our younger guests as well as a gazebo for those very hot days when shade is a must & games room including a Playstation2 great for families of all ages. Kitchen: Fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with breakfast bar, 5 ring gas hob with electric oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, slow cooker and usual fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster etc as well as cooking equipment and full cutlery.
Utility Room: Washing machine located in kitchen, iron & ironing board also in kitchen.
Living Rooms: Lounge benefits from wide-screen TV with English satellite, DVD player with many films available, coffee table, leather 3 piece suite and large footstool. Free calls to UK & French Landlines available & Internet access - Dining area has seating for 6.
Other: 3rd floor is our loft room - ideal for den area with games room including Playstation 2 (many games available)It also has the benefit of Air conditioning! The house is also complete with full central heating for those winter month lets.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bathroom towels are provided as well as linen - we do ask you to bring your own pool towels. On arrival the propety is completely cleaned & all beds made, extra cleaning can be arranged on request as a small fee. We do ask people to leave clean & tidy.

 

Notes on accommodation
The home has full central heating and as it is made of granite stone it stays cool in the hot summer - so suitable all year round. There are steps leading to the home, so unsuitable for wheelchair access.

Outside
The Farmhouse makes up only part of our property, we also have many other outbuildings (not occupied yet) all surrounding a large private courtyard with plenty of car parking. The Swimming Pool area is also located in the centre of the courtyard in a locked gated/walled area, it is overground measuring 24ft x 10ft with steps leading up and in, we also have a paddling pool for those younger guests, with sun beds, chairs and a gazebo for those seeking the shade. We have more patio furniture to the front of the home with BBQ. Outdoor games are provided, such as swingball etc - great location for bikes with many quiet country lanes.

Coast/Beach
Approx 30 minute drive will take you to many sandy beaches such as Dinard & Saint Cast, as well as some smaller coves & rock pools all along the coast.

Golf
There are many golf courses within easy reach, inc Dinard links course, St Malo, Golf de Baden and Saint cast de Guildo most arrange club hire etc.

Travel
Flights are regular from Stansted or Luton to Dinard airport via Ryanair - only 45 mins flight & 30 mins drive to the home. Brittany Ferries sail from Portsmouth to St Malo 35/40 mins to the house but with a 7-hr crossing, Portsmouth to Caen is 3.5 hours fast ferry or 5 hrs on slow approx 2 hrs drive the other side. Cherbourg 3.5 hrs crossing with a 132 mile drive to the home (new M/way fast but 173 miles). Calais is 5/6 hours drive- We can offer you discount on Brittany ferries crossings.

Distances
Nearest Village is Plumaudan 2km - with bakery, pharmacy, shop & bars - nearest main town is Dinan 15 min drive stunning medieval town with plenty of interest. St Malo & Dinard are worth a visit as is Le Mont St Michel & Cancale.

Once full payment is made a complete Welcome Pack will be sent containing maps, places of interest, local area and details on the home.

Booking notes
Should you wish to book - please request booking form and dates required. If available these dates will be held for 7 days until the completed booking form and 20% deposit is received. Balance and £100 security deposit is then due 10 weeks before arrival at the home. The security deposit will be returned within 2 weeks if all OK at the home.
