The gite is a cottage style accommodation with an open plan living area containing kitchen/diner which is fully equipped including cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Seating area for relaxation - special feature of traditional open fireplace. Central heating. Bedrooms consist of 1 x double, 1 x twin and the 3rd bedroom is a Twin bedroom located on the mezzanine floor. WC and shower room. Lovely beaches are located approx 40 minute drive away - Beaches of La tranche Sur Mer, Les Sables, Les Conches etc etc.

Nearest Airport is La Rochelle which is approx 35 minutes drive. Nantes airport is 75 minute ddrive, Poitiers is approx 75 minute drive. All airports are served by the discounted airlines ie Easyjet, Flybe, Ryanair.
Nearest Channel port is St Malo which is 3 hours drive, Caen is approx 4 hours and Calais is approx 6 hours drive.

Distances
The property is set on the outskirts of the village, with the nearest town being Fontenay Le Comte which is 10 minute drive, and the town of Lucon is 15 minute drive.
There are lots of places to go and things to do for all ages and interests. Apart from the lovely beaches, we have childrens adventure parks, Mervent forest and Zoo, the beautiful village of Vouvant, lots of Chateaus, museums, wine tasting etc. Plenty of sports eg water sports, horse riding, go-karting, cycling, walking etc etc.
