Situated on the peaceful Periox hillside above Talliores the apartment is modern yet cosy. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 6. There is one main bedroom with double bed, a chambrette with 2 bunks and a sofa bed in the lounge. The apartment has 2 bathrooms, a spacious lounge and brand new fitted galley kitchen. The private garden and patio face south west with wonderful views of Lake Annecy.

Living Rooms: Lounge with sofa bed. Table and chairs. flat screen Satellite TV able to receive UK freeview channels, eg BBC1, 2 ITV Channel 4 etc. DVD Home cinema system.

Large garden equipped with table and chairs, sun loungers and barbeque. There are 4 bikes in the cave for use with the apartment.

Coast/Beach
Within a 5 minute drive the beach at Talloires is a beautiful grassy area with special access to the Lake. Diving boards and paddling pools are provided. In the alternate direction the beach at Menton St Bernard is well equipped and has a children’s playground.

Golf
Talloires golf club, 18 holes is 5 minutes drive away. Excellent course with stunning views.

Skiing
The small ski area of Montmim is 15 mins away. A 30 minute drive will take you to La Clusaz and grand Bonard. Excellent ski resorts with a wide range of runs for all abilities. Very good access to the slopes and a very professional ski school in both resorts. The winter Olympic centre of Albertville is 25km to the south

Special interest holidays
Paragliding. The passages du vent paragliding club has it's centre and landing site within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. Paragliding world cup in Talloires 13 - 20 June. The area is a walkers paradise.

Travel
Geneva airport is 60 minutes away with flights all year round. In the winter Chambery is serviced by a number of low cost airlines and is only 35 minutes away. Grenoble and Lyon are 90 minutes away.

Distances
Talloires is a 20 min steep walk or a 5 min drive. Annecy is 20 mins away by car or a 30 minutes trip by boat. There is a local bus service from Periox to Annecy.

Further details
Fete de Lac is always the first weekend in August. Talloires has a wonderful selection of restaurants, a number are set on the edge of the Lake with wonderful views. The nearby village of Menthon St Bernard has a number of lovely bars and restaurants. Both villages have excellent small supermarkets, boulangeries and pharmacies.

About the owner
Hi we are Allison and Mick Whiteley and we have two girls. We fell in love with Annecy in 2004. We purchased our apartment in 2005 and try to get out there as much as possible. We fell in love with the view from our apartment and feel it is our piece of paradise. We love swimming in the lake and walking down to Talloires. Boat trips are another favourite as well as paragliding which we had experienced.Our favourite restaurant is Bora Bora which does great burgers for the children and has a great atmosphere. The Flowers is also exceptional. In the winter we ski at La Clusaz which we love. It has plenty of routes to challenge us but also enables us to ski as a family. We hope that anyone who rents our apartment falls in love with area and enjoys it as much as we do.
