All our rooms have central heating. Our home is child friendly and children can enjoying playing in our secure garden.

Coast/Beach
We are just over an hours driving distance from the D-Day landing beaches. About 1 hour 40 from Mont St Michel.
Golf
Bagnoles de l'Orne 5km is the nearest Course. However,there is Golf at Clecy (40 mins drive) which is a more challenging course. There are several other courses; please ask for details.
Travel
We would recommend the use of a car in the area. However, its a great base for cycling and walking with so many circuits to follow. Approx driving distances, Caen 1 hour, Le Havre 1 hour 40 mins, Cherbourg 2 hours, St Malo 2 hours 30 mins. Dinard airport is 2 hours away, and Paris CDG 3 hours.

La Ferte Mace 5mins with its leisure lake and new indoor Swimming Pool. Bagnoles de l'Orne 5km; Spa town with shops and restaurants. Carrouges 18km with its magnificent Chateau;the medieval town of Domfront. Falaise 30km. Many fishing lakes and circuits. Sees 30km with its Gothic Cathredral. Loire Valley only 2 hours drive south. Camembert and Vimoutiers 30 mins drive. Haras du Pin, home of the national stud 45 mins drive. Enjoy the reqional parks which show the unspoilt heritage of the region.
Further details
La Ferte Mace has several bars and restaurants. All types of shops including banks and supermarkets. A great leisure lake with fishing, pedaloes, sailing etc. There is also a new indoor swimming pool.
