My lovely studio is small but well equipped and ideal for a holiday hideaway (hence the price). The kitchenette has everything except an oven but there is a microwave/grill instead. The studio is tucked down the side of the building shown in the photos and has a side view of the lake which is within splashing distance. There is a road between the building and the lakeside as there is almost all the way around Lake Annecy. There is a shared pontoon which you would have the code for and ideal for swimming off. Chez Pierre restaurant is a 1 minute walk from the apartment and is wonderful. Annecy is 17km, Talloires 5km and Doussard 2km with good shops and cafes. If you are interested in paragliding, waterskiing, walking, swimming, cycling or just relaxing it is in a great location for all these things. It has been gutted and re-done completely last year and everything is new.

For longer bookings discounts are available. 10% discount for bookings for 3 weeks plus.
Changeover day
July and August changeover is a Saturday. Check in after 4pm and departure 9.30am. I can be flexible out of peak season.

The propery is cleaned after every visit. Linen is not provided, duvets and pillows are. |

The studio is suitable for 2 people either a couple or friends. It is small but an extremely well designed space. This is reflected in the price.

Outside
There is a communal garden which is massive at the back but very overgrown. The front garden is also communal and you are welcome to sit any where outside. There is no provided garden furniture apart from a deckchair as I tend sit out on the pontoon instead.
Coast/Beach
The studio is around 30m from the lake and the apartments have a communal pontoon. It is ideal for swimming.
Golf
There is a golf course aprox. 7-8km away.
Skiing
La Clusaz and Semnoz are around 45 mins away or on the Col de Forclaz there is Montmin resort, very small and about 20 mins away. Megeve 45 mins and Chamonix 1 and quarter hours away.
Travel
Geneva airport is the closest airport and takes 1 and 1/4 hours (back roads are just as good as the autoroute and cheaper). There is an airport at Annecy but small planes only. Driving from the UK would take around 8 - 10 hours from Clalais. Car rental from Geneva would be required, book it over the internet as it is cheaper and make sure you book it on the Swiss side not the French side as the arrivals are on the Swiss side.
Distances
Annecy is 17km away and can be reached by car in 15 - 20 mins or by boat from Talloires which is 5km away. Doussard is about 2 - 3km away and has all amenities. A great supermarket, butchers, bakers, chemist, bank (ATM) and a market. There is a great restaurant called Chez Pierre that is 1 min walk from the apartment.
Further details
The paragliding schools are very close and so is the landing field. Annecy has the best market I have ever seen! (Tuesdays). There is a nature reserve within walking distance and it is a great walk and regular beaver sightings! The Col de Forclaz is great to drive up (or cycle if your fit!) with views of the whole lake. You can cycle to your hearts content here with a cycle track almost all the way around the lake (38km)and up the Col de Aravis and many others. Mountain bike cycling is excellent. The nearby campsite and beach offers pedalos, dingys, wind surfing, sailing and boat hire (summer only). Water skiing and wake boarding is available at the end of the lake. There are many great restaurants as well!
