These beautiful apartments are situated in a residence of very high standing which is located 50m from the main ski lift in St Gervais. There is the advantage of a sunny south facing aspect for 2 of the properties and the third has a view of the town with the church being the focal point. All the furnishings are of a very high standard. The kitchens are well equipped for those who want a quality self catering experience. There is also the use of a ski locker for each apartment separately. You will be greeted on arrival by an English speaking couple who you can call on if you have any problems. They can also organise restaurants, ski hire etc if required. Cleaning of the apt is included in the rental charge. All bed linen, towels, tea towels and bath mat with beds made up for your arrival will be provided at a supplementary charge per person, all allowing for a hassle free holiday.

For Christmas and New Year weeks there will be a Christmas tree and extras provided for the festive period. Payment can be accepted in euros.

Changeover day
We are flexible over changeover days for most bookings to allow guests to take advantage of low cost airlines. Please contact us to discuss your request. Check in is 3pm on day of arrival and check out is 10am on day of departure.

Accommodation

The apt is 65m squared. We can reconfigure the bedrooms and change doubles to singles, add bunks etc if needed as we live in the resort so can be flexible to suit your party's needs
Bedroom 1 with double bed.
Bedroom 2 with bunk beds which can be split to 2 singles and a single sofa bed. There are double fitted wardrobes in both rooms.
The entrance hall has a bookcase with a large selection of books, DVDs, CDs and games.
There is a hall cupboard for storing coats and shoes which houses the immersion heater so has a warming effect also.
Large lounge / dining room / kitchen which has a very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, a conventional oven/grill and a separate microwave oven, 4 ring halogen hob, fridge with icebox and full size dishwasher. There is a kettle and toaster.
The dining table can sit 7. There are 2 leather sofas, coffee tables and TV/DVD/CD in the lounge.
The bathroom has a fitted shower over the bath and a washer/dryer.
Separate toilet.

There is 1 double bedroom with 2 single beds which can either be made up separately or made into a double bed, double wardrobe and 2 bedside tables and lamps.
The entrance has a double wardrobe also which has storage and hanging space.
The lounge/ dining room / kitchen is very well fitted out to a high standard with the kitchen having a combination microwave oven and grill, a 4 ring halogen hob, a fridge with icebox and a full size dishwasher, stainless steel kettle and toaster. All the crockery is of a high standard.
The dining table seats 5 and there is a large L shaped bed settee, 2 occasional tables with lamps and a tall unit housing DVD, CD player and a selection of books, games and DVD's, CD's.
The bathroom has a fitted shower over the bath and a washing machine.
There is a separate toilet.

A 45 sqm apartment. The apartment comprises of a large hallway with cupboards with sliding doors for storing coats, boots etc. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a washbasin set in a unit for storage and a washing machine. A separate toilet is also in the hall area. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes with bedside tables. The open plan lving area has a fully fitted kitchen with full size dishwasher, fridge/freezer, halogen hob and microwave/oven/grill. There is dining for 4 and a lounge area with a sofa and armchair, dresser and sofabed which sleeps 2. There is a TV and DVD player also. The balcony has a view of the town and round the side a view of the ski lift and Mont D'arbois mountain

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartments benefit from electric heating controlled manually by yourselves so you can control it to suit your own needs. Two of the apartments are next door to each other and the third is on the same corridor, so would suit either separate rentals or, subject to availability, could be rented together for a larger family or friends who want to be together but still enjoy their own space also.

Accessibility
The apartments are located opposite the lift on the first floor. The lift is easily accessible from the ground floor entrance hall, which is off the car park with no steps.

Outside
The apartment block does have a private garden. There is patio furniture on the balconies of each apartment. There is private outside parking for the residence. All apartments also have their own ski lockers.

Coast/Beach
There is a lovely lake at Passy 6km away where there is a beach and swimming plus water sports in the summer months. Fishing is also permitted here as it is in many of the mountain lakes and rivers in the area. Fishing licenses can be purchased from the St Gervais tourist office.

Golf
There are 2 golf courses about 1/2 hr drive maximum. One in Megeve and one in Chamonix, both with very good reputations.

Skiing
The apartments could not be better positioned for the ski lifts, only 50m away. The skiing here in St Gervais is included in the Evasion Mont Blanc ski range offering over 400km of skiing not forgetting the snow park. The evasion pass allows you to ski St Gervais, St Nicholas, Megeve, Combloux, Les Contamines plus Les Houches accessed by the Mont Blanc Tramway( France's highest). If this is not enough you are within 20 mins drive of the Chamonix and Argentiere ski circuit and 45 minutes from the resorts of Flaine, Les Gets.

Travel
We are less than 1 hour from Geneva airport and about 8 hrs drive from Calais and other sea ports. There are good rail links throughout France which stop at Le Fayet, 2km away. A car is not essential. Transfers to and from the airport can be arranged for you.

Distances
The village centre is 5 mins walk. The magnificent walks in the area are endless and can be accessed directly from the apartment or many are only a 10 min drive. Lake Geneva, Annecy, Evian are all under an hour away. Italy and Switzerland can also be easily accessed from this area

Further details
The summer activities in this area are fantastic for the outdoor life. A few examples are mountain biking, climbing, with the obvious ascent of Mont Blanc for the experienced climber with guided climbs organised from St Gervais. There is an open air swimming pool in the village and 2 natural swimming lakes within 10 mins drive. There are also paragliding and white water rafting for the more adventurous. These are only a taster.
