Skiing
Samoens and the Grand Massif have fantastic skiing for everyone, whatever level you are. Superb ski school which is excellent for children.
Grand Massif 1600-2500m. Ski lift 12 minutes by foot or ski bus 5 minutes.
The Grand Massif includes 265km of pistes. It links five resorts 5 linked resorts: Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine, Samoens and Sixt. The highest point is 2500m. Also 20 minutes to Les Gets and massive Portes de Soleil ski area.

Fly to Geneva with Easyjet, BA or Swissair with quick transfer!
Only 50 minutes drive to Samoens or transfer bus from Geneva airport or reserve taxi for approx 80 Euros each way.
2 hours from Lyon or 7 hours drive from Calais.
Distances
40 minutes drive to Chamonix, 1 hour to Evian, 1 hour to Megeve, 1 hour to Lake Annecy.

Summer: The Alps is only just being discovered in the summer. The climate is sunny and consistently warm ideal for outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding and water sports. The apartment is well located for all these activities and you are able to walk and mountain bike from trails starting outside the apartment. Nearby there is opportunities for fishing and a superb outdoor swimming pool and lovely tennis courts with tennis tuition available in July and August. Also there is excellent horse riding and donkey trips and guiding.
The downhill mountain bike championship is often held in nearby Les Gets and you can take your mountain bike up in nearby chairlifts and descend downhill. Also Hot air Ballooning and fantastic climbing. Alternatively there is an 18 hole Golf course and driving range in nearby Les Gets with tuition. There are also plenty of opportunities for water sports nearby such as: kayaking, rafting, wind surfing on Lake Annecy and Leman or just sunbathe and have a BBQ on your own sun drenched terrace (now with sun chair).
