Changeover day can be flexible. Shortbreaks between mid September and the end of May are also available.

Iris (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2)

This 1 bedroomed cottage has twin beds with an adjoining shower room. It has a good sized open plan living area, with comfortable sitting area with CD player, TV with some English channels and DVD and a log burner. There is a dining area and a kitchen area which is fully equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board and clothes airer.

Tulip (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4)

This two bedroomed cottage has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The cottage has a shower room. It has a good sized living area with large windows which look out towards fields. The living area has a log burner, dining area and sitting area with TV (Some English channels) DVD and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

Rose (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6)

This property has 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 doubles and 1 twin. 1 double being on the ground floor. There is also a large shower room on the ground floor and a large bathroom with full sized bath with shower over on the first floor both with electric heating . The rooms are of a good size and light and airy. Downstairs there is a separate kitchen which is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, iron, ironing board. The living area has a dining room table and there is comfortable seating in the sitting area with a beautiful large fireplace with a log burner. There is a TV with some English channels, DVD and CD player.

Notes on accommodation
Tulip and Rose are very suitable for children. Sheets, duvets and towels are provided but not pool towels. Cleaning materials are also provided.

Outside
There are two grassed areas for children, one with swings and also a games room with darts and table tennis. All properties have their own patio furniture, barbecue and their own areas to sit in. The decking area has a table and chairs and there are loungers which are shared by the properties. The pool is heated with solar panels and the area is enclosed by a safety fence which conforms to French law. We have some board games in the gites and also some outdoor games for children.

Coast/Beach
The west coast is approximately 45 mins drive and has many beautiful sandy beaches and the North coast is approximately 1 hour with many coves and beaches to explore.

Golf
Available in Carhaix (20 kms).

Travel
Brest Airport is 1 hour's drive with full car hire facilities, Roscoff is 1 hour's drive and St Malo is approximately 2 hour's drive. The use of a car is essential.

Distances
Collorec 3km. Carhaix is 22km. Huelgoat 10km.

Further details
Carhaix has may large supermarkets, shops, banks, kart racing, a bowling alley, an indoor pool with flume and horse riding. There is fishing on the Nante Brest canal which is not far. Huelgoat with its magical forest, beautiful walks and lake is worth visiting it also has restaurants and a supermarket and other small shops. Collorec has a small supermarket and a restaurant and two bars. Chateauneuf de Feu is near with shops, banks and supermarkets. From here you can walk along the Nante Brest canal or take a boat trip.

Please contact Jane or Russell Bridge for a booking form. A deposit of £50 is payable on booking and the remainder of the payments is due 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Payment by cheque in sterling or euros made payable to Mr R Bridge. A welcome pack containing basic things to start you off is available on request.
