A cosy and well equipped gite sleeping up to 4 persons. Owners live discreetly on site. The gite has its own garden and has use of the owners swimming pool, with views of the pretty village and surrounding fields. The gite is set in the heart of the Dordogne close to all the major tourist sites. The famous Lascaux caves, Bergerac and Sarlat being 30 mins away.

Changeover day
Saturday arrivals after 4pm. Departure by 10am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, door onto patio. Bedroom 2 with twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. |

| Living Rooms: | Open plan area comprising of 2 sofas one of which is a sofa bed. TV with English free to air channels, videos, DVDs, stereo, board games and books. |

All bed linen and towels are provided, including tea towels and towels for the pool. All linen will be changed for a 2 week letting. |

Notes on accommodation
The owners live discreetly on site with their aged pet dog. It is a very safe environment for children, the gite garden is enclosed by a fence and locked gate. There is a large garden belonging to the owners to run around in and when in season fruit trees to pick.
Accessibility
Apart from one step to enter the gite, the gite is all on one level, no stairs.
Outside
The gite has its own fenced in garden area with patio including table and chairs, parasol and BBQ. It has its own parking area and entrance. There is delightful pool 8m x 4m, sunbeds to relax on and parasols. All set in beautiful, quiet surroundings.
Coast/Beach
The gite is approx 2 hours driving from the Atlantic coast.
Golf
There is a 18 hole golf course approx 5 mins away.
Travel
Bergerac airport approx 30 mins with flights from all over UK. Bordeaux airport approx 1.75 hour. If you are flying you will need to hire a car. We are approx 350 miles from St Malo and 500 miles from Calais and Boulogne.
Distances
We are approx 800m from the centre of the village. Perigueux and Bergerac being 30 mins. Sarlat approx 35 mins, Les Eyzies and Lascaux the world's prehistoric capital are 25 mins away. We are also surrounded by beautiful countryside with chateaux and many rivers for walking along.
Further details
For the young ones, there are aqua parks, canoeing, rock climbing, go-carting, horse-riding, cycling and fishing and swimming in many lakes that have beaches. You can either simply lazy by the pool and go to many of the local towns and sit at the cafes. The local towns of Vergt and Le Bugue have many restaurants/cafes, supermarkets and banks. Both have good markets. Perigueux and Bergerac have large markets. Sarlat has a huge market on a Saturday morning.
Booking notes
20% deposit is payable on booking The booking form should be completed and signed and returned by email. The deposit and balance both being paid via online banking. Full payment is due 8 weeks before the arrival date. If this is not received, we reserve the right to seek an alternative booking, with cancellation charges then coming into effect. A refundable security deposit of £200 is payable when you arrive.

Just a wonderful, fully equipped gite in the centre of Dordogne. Beautiful surroundings. All tourist attractions within easy reach.
The cleanest gite we have stayed - a very good standard.
We all have just loved it, the gite, pool, garden, weather the stunning area, to much to see and do. Shall definitely return.

About the owner
Martin and Teresa worked hard in the UK within the Finance industry and Teresa in the NHS. Both have travelled for many years, but decided to hang up their hats and take on a Gite in the heart of the Dordogne, an area they both love and have been to for many years.
They have good experience of entertaining and hospitality and enjoy making people feel at home at all times. Nothing is too much trouble.
