Les Pincats with its large garden containing a selection of ornamental and fruit trees, including, plum, peach and pear is situated on the edge of the pretty village of Payrignac which has been awarded 4 Oaks for its floral beauty by Citie Fleuri. The village, a leisurly 10 min walk has a restaurant/bar which overlooks the village lake. Tennis courts and fishing are also available. The medieval hilltop town of Gourdon is 5km away with its pavement bars, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Sitting on the border of the Dordoge and Lot regions makes Payrignac an ideal location to explore these two areas of outstanding beauty. Approx 10 mins drive from the Dordogne river with its excellent canoeing facilities. Les Pincat is within easy drive of some of the most popular towns and villages of the Dordogne such as Salat, Domme and La Roque Gageac. There are a number of French markets and many popular attractions close by.

Saturday to Saturday. Arrive after 3pm. Depart by 10am.

Laundry charges double room £10 one week £15 two weeks Twin £5 one week £10 two weeks per bed. (pool towels are not supplied) for 2 week bookings a change of sheets pillow cases and towels will be left at the house. The pool is maintained weekly. |

Notes on accommodation
In addition to the log burner there are wall mounted radiators in the downstairs living area and heaters in both bedrooms and the bathroom. We are unable to supply equipment e.g. highchair, stair gates etc therefore the house is not suitable for young children. There is a small terraced area with a table and chairs directly outside the house plus a larger outside dining area with dining table, 6 chairs and a BBQ. Regrettably we are unable to accept pets.
Accessibility
Due to the steps leading up to the entrance door and stairs to the bedrooms the property unfortunately is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The private swimming pool, 10 x 5m sits in a sunny position approx 15m from the house with glorious views over the surrounding farmland and is for the sole use of our guests. There is a good selection of pool furniture including beds, parasols table etc. The large mature gardens of approx an acre offer privacy for both swimming and dining. There is a sunken garden area with dining facilities and BBQ next to the house. Easy parking.
Travel
Airports: Toulouse, Bergerac, Limoges and Brive (new 2010)
Use of a car is recommended.
Distances
Gourdon approx 5km. Dordogne River approx 10km.
Sarlat 25 mins drive.
Further details
In the village there is restaurant/bar popular with both locals and visitors. Tennis courts and fishing is available in our lake. The medieval town of Gourdon, approx 5km miles away has many restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets, independent shops, chemists and a hospital.
Booking notes
Deposit 25%. Balance 8 weeks before start of holiday. £150 refundable deposit against damage payable with final balance. Although final clean is included in the rental charge it is expected the property be left in a reasonable condition. Guests must make their own travel and insurance arrangements.
