Arranged over 3 floors it sleeps 8 very comfortably in 4 bedrooms, 2 of which lead onto a balcony at the front of the property offering lovely views of the surrounding mountains.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in Euros. Prices include end of stay cleaning, heating, linen, towels and logs for fire (winter season only). Local tourist tax is payable on arrival

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are asked to arrive no earlier than 3pm on day of arrival and vacate the premises by 10am on the day of departure. These times are negotiable at the time of booking.

Bathrooms: En-suite with bedroom 1 with shower over bath, wash basin and WC.

Kitchen: Large open plan kitchen with all modern amenities - oven, dishwasher, microwave and hob. Excellent supply of china, glasses, cutlery, all kitchen utensils and coffee machine. Also available is a raclette/pierrade machine.
Utility Room: Located in the garage on the ground floor there is a washing machine and dryer available for clients use.
Living Rooms: Open plan living/dining area with large comfortable sofas arranged around the enclosed log fire. Large dining table set next to the French doors opening out on the large balcony. Living area equipped with TV, video and DVD player.
Other: There is a large entrance hall on ground level with a cupboard for jackets and coats.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and end of stay cleaning are included in the price. However in order to maintain our high standard of cleanliness our guests are asked to leave the Chalet as they find it.

 

Notes on accommodation
The first floor has under floor heating as well as individual heaters in all of the rooms throughout to ensure your stay during the winter is warm. A highchair is available and a travel cot can be made available by request.

Outside
There is a large balcony on the first floor equipped with table and chairs. On the second floor 2 of the bedrooms open up onto a smaller balcony with a table and 2 chairs. There is ample parking for up to 3 cars outside the Chalet. The BBQ is provided only for use outside on the ground floor. Due to legal requirements it can not be used on any of the balconies.

Skiing
The Chalet is within easy walking distance of the main ski lift in Morillon giving access to Le Grand Massif, one of the greatest skiing domains in France including Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens, Morillon and Sixt. A total of 260km of slopes culminating at 2500m with views of Mont Blanc. The Chalet is also 2.5km from the new high speed 8 seated gondola in Samoens with a free car park at the bottom. Snowboarders are also catered for with 3 'Jamparks'. Families are very important in Morillon and the 'Village des Enfant' is highly recommended for children aged 6 months to 10 years. Within 40 minutes drive you can also ski the Portes du Soleil and Chamonix Valley.

Travel
Located only 15 mins from the A40, 55km from the nearest airport - Geneva. With easy access to TGV station in Cluses. TGV Paris - Cluses, about 5h. Car hire is not essential but recommended if you want to explore out of the valley.

Further details
Winter activities - As well as Alpine Skiing there is also Cross Country skiing available with 66km of tracks by the river bank between Morillon and Sixt and another 28.5km at the Col de Joux Plagne (1800m facing Mont Blanc)and snow shoe enthusiasts will find 62km of tracks through the forests. Summer activities - There is a recreational park in the centre of Morillon where you will find swimming, tennis, horse riding, petanque, fishing, mini-golf, volley-ball and lots more. The valley offers a wide range of climbing for beginners and advanced climbers. For the more adventurous there is glacier hiking (age 12-77) and the Mont-Blanc Ascent. For white water lovers a number of accredited operators offer white river rafting on the Giffre from Sixt to Morillon, a distance of 15 km, whether you stay in the most difficult part of the river or just drift and watch the landscape you will never forget the experience.
