La Ferme des Amis comprises a farmhouse and self-contained chalet. The house was built over 150 years ago and is one of the original Alpine farms in Les Gets with thick stone walls, large rooms and a distinct Savoyard style that give it a unique warmth and character. The property looks out over the valley of Les Gets and has stunning views while also being within minutes of the village. For summer there is a terrace and garden with spectacular views across the valley. For winter, the free shuttle bus stops directly outside the farmhouse. The chalet is in the converted barn above the chalet with independent access and complete privacy. From its wooden balconies it has great views across the valley to the mountains. The farmhouse and the chalet can be rented separately or together.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the properties per week in UK Pounds. We also accept payment in euros. Rentals are usually Saturday to Saturday but other dates may be possible. Please ask us. Discounts are usually available for rentals of more than one week, or if you rent both the farmhouse and the chalet together.

Notes on accommodation
Ski room for boots and skis.
Linen and towels are provided at cost. Cleaning can be provided as an option.
There is a lot of room in this old farmhouse and it is great for groups of families who want to holiday together.
Accessibility
The chalet is all on one level with no steps and would be wheelchair accessible.
Outside
In summer both the chalet and farmhouse provide a lot of outdoor space. The farmhouse has a terrace and garden overlooking the valley. The chalet has two large balconies suitable for entertaining. There is a garden to the side of the property that can be used by guests from both the chalet and farmhouse.
Coast/Beach
Les Gets has a wonderful lake that offers supervised swimming and a small beach area. At Montriond, a much, much larger lake offers fishing, canoeing and the usual range of water activities.

Skiing
Les Gets is a fantastic ski resort and is part of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area, which extends to 650km of pistes spread over 12 resorts, 7 in France and 5 in Switzerland.
The farmhouse and chalet are 5 minutes from the lifts using the free ski shuttle bus that passes every 30 minutes. Better still, the bus stops directly outside and so eliminates all the lugging of kit.
Special interest holidays
Big summer activity is mountain biking and the resort is a world centre of VTT (Velo Tout Terrain).
Travel
Geneva airport is an hour door-to-door from the farm. A shuttle can also be booked to take you from Geneva Airport to the farm - information on this can be found at lesgets.com/en/158#522
It takes around 8 hours to drive from Calais.

1 mile to centre of Les Gets village.
5 miles to Morzine or Montriond.

Local Sherpa supermarket just down the road.
Nice walk up to cafe/bar up the hill above the farmhouse.
