The house is located in a small, gated development of holiday homes, opposite the old walled town of Aigues Mortes, with a private patio area and shared pool. With a history dating back to the 12th Century, Aigues Mortes is a delightful town full of interesting shops and wonderful restaurants. Located on the banks of the canals of the Camargue, it is only 20 minutes from Montpellier and 5 minutes to the beach. Famous for its wild horses and pink flamingos, the Camargue is a haven for wildlife and with the canal so close, you can spend a relaxing afternoon cruising along watching out for the various birds and other water life. There is a patio outdoor area to the house for barbeques. The large pool is private to the development and has full amenities including shower and toilets. The resort of Le Grande Mort is within a 5 minute drive and the historic Saintes Maries de la Mer, with its beautiful beaches and fantastic seafood restaurants is a 30 minute drive.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Bookings of two weeks or longer between 3 September 2011 and 29 June 2012 will receive a 10% discount. A £150 refundable security deposit is required for each booking.

Perpignan airport is 1.5 hours away and is serviced by Ryanair and Flybe.
Distances
The ancient walled town of Aigues Mortes is a short walk from the house and is full of fascinating shops, restaurants and museums. On Wednesdays and Sundays, the town is host to a large and varied local market.
Further details
On the borders of Aigues Mortes are some fantastic vineyards and lakes where watersports are abundant. Horse riding is also widely available.
This is a great place for families as the area is very safe and all local restaurants are very child friendly.

Bookings can be made by contacting Simon Wright via e-mail or telephone. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking and full payment is to be made 6 weeks before the date of travel. Cancellation within 6 weeks of date of travel will forefit the deposit. A fully refundable security deposit of £150 is payable at the same time as the initial deposit.
