‘Le Carroir’ is a traditional three storey French townhouse situated in the very heart of the medieval town of St Aignan sur Cher. With all modern comforts, it also retains many original features including beams, tiled floors and an oak staircase. This house has a small sunny garden and is a few steps from the front door which is sheltered and private. A garden hut houses garden furniture and a BBQ. Being in the centre of the old part of town you are within easy walking distance of all shops, bars and restaurants, the cinema, water sports, swimming pool and the town's chateau and church. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area including the Loire chateaux, aquariums, Futuroscope, the historic city of Blois with its stunning chateau, museums, cathedral, abbey and basilica, the royal town of Amboise with its chateau, medieval streets and pageants, the medieval town of Loches and Bourges with renowned cathedral and stained glass windows.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Saturday, especially in the high season, but is flexible. The house is available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.
