There is off road parking for two cars. Riec Sur Belon offers local shops including a supermarket and pharmacy, restaurants and bars, banks and gift shops. There are numerous country and coastal walks nearby, a fishing lake and horse riding, plus for dedicated shoppers three hypermarkets within a 15 minute drive.

Changeover day
Preferred change over day is Saturday (depart 10am, arrive 3.00pm) but depending on bookings this may be negotiable.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. Bedroom 2 with two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinet. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with a wash basin and cubicle shower. Separate WC. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, slow cooker, electric kettle and toaster plus enough crockery, glassware and utensils for eight people. |
| Utility Room: | The utility cupboard off the hall stores a clothes airer, hoover, ironing board, iron, broom, dust pan and brush and cleaning materials. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has two double sofa beds, a coffee table, TV and DVD player. An archway leads through to the dining area in which there is a large dining table and six chairs and a dresser which contains many board games for the use of guests. |
| Other: | Leading off the kitchen is a large garage which contains an automatic washing machine. The garage provides an ideal storage area and in it you will find outdoor games, beach items (windbreaks, parasols etc) all for the use of our guests. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided but guests should provide their own bed linen, towels and tea towels. |
Notes on accommodation
There are convector heaters in the lounge, bedrooms, bathroom and hall. If you are visiting with a baby there is a Mothercare travel cot and high chair available for your use.
Outside
There is a large garden front and rear. The front garden is mainly grass and has a wooden bench. There are two large gates which, when closed, provide a secure environment for children. The rear garden has an abundance of fruit trees giving dappled shade in the summer. There is plenty of room for outdoor dining and outdoor furniture and a barbecue are provided.
Coast/Beach
There are a choice of beaches within a 15 minute drive ranging from those suitable for young children with adjoining play areas, beaches with child-friendly restaurants which overlook through to Le Pouldu, which is in fact a number of beaches on one stretch of golden sand and offers volleyball, windsurfing or just sun bathing and swimming.
Travel
The nearest airport is Brest and the driving time from there to the property is about 90 minutes.
The property is also easily reached from the ferry ports of St Malo or Roscoff. Driving time from St Malo is 3 hours 30 minutes and from Roscoff 2 hours 15 minutes.
Distances
Riec Sur Belon is a five minute walk (about 400 metres) from the property. Pont Aven (famous for its connection with Paul Gauguin) is 5 miles away. The medieval walled town of Concarneau, one of France's largest fishing port, is 13 miles away and the distance to Quimper, with its famous cathedral and pottery is 24 miles.
Further details
In the village there are three boulangeries, a tourist information centre and a pizzeria in addition to the local facilities already mentioned. Riec Sur Belon is known as the oyster capital of France and is a place of special interest to gourmets.
