A self contained holiday apartment which is part of a restored farmhouse and totally private. In a beautiful setting with view of valley and the pretty village of Siorac de Ribérac with its Romanesque church. The main house is occupied by the owners, an artist couple. A peaceful and quiet location yet close to all amenities. Leisure facilities include swimming pool and woodland walks etc. Golf, putting green, tennis, canoeing, pedalos, lakeside beaches, flying club all within 15 minutes drive. The town of Perigueux is around 40 minutes drive, Angouleme and Bergerac Airport are about one hour as well as Bordeaux via new autoroute at Mussidan.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the apartment per week in UK Pounds for 2 persons, including linen and towels (no swimming towels). Winter lets are available at a discounted price on enquiry. We also have special weekend packages and day offers which can include B&B.
Changeover day
Normal changeover is Saturday but dependent upon adjacent bookings we try to maintain a degree of flexibility to fit in with guests needs. Normal arrival time is between 4pm and 7pm and departure is by 11am although once again we try to be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
The holiday apartment is entirely self contained with its own entrance and own private terrace. The guests have the possibility to join the owners family for dinner on request at a price of 15 euros per person.

Outside
Swimming pool of 18x3m. The pool is shared only with the owners (from May to September). Own terrace with garden furniture, independent entrance. Beautiful gardens with fruit trees, a fish pond, several shaded terraces with outdoor table, chairs and umbrellas.
Special interest holidays
The owner, a professional artist offers painting course in spacious studio or surroundings. Beginners and advanced welcome. Different techniques, perspective, landscape etc.
Travel
Your own transport is essential to enjoy the magnificent countryside of the area. Car hire is available at airports on arrival and in Riberac (bike hire). The nearest airport is Bergerac which is 1 hour drive, although the new autoroute exit at Mussidan brings Bordeaux airport to within around 1½ hour drive. The ports of Caen and Le Havre are around 6½ hours drive and the channel ports around 8 hours.
Distances
The village of Siorac de Ribérac with a nice restaurant is 2 mins drive. Riberac is about 7 mins drive with a wide choice of shops, several banks, 4 supermarkets, a Friday morning market being the largest in the Perigord and an excellent information office. The city of Angouleme is about 1 hour away and Perigueux around 35 mins by car. To Limoges it takes approx 2 hours.
Booking notes
The holiday apartment is available all year through. Bookings usually run from Saturday to Saturday. A 30% deposit is required upon booking. The full payment should be made 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Payable by check or bank order, as well as via e-mail or credit card or PayPal.
