If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful and beautiful setting just a few mins from the sea and within easy reach of some of the best known resorts on the Côte d’Azur, then the ‘Résidence la Sigua’ is for you! Ideally located 2km from the coast with a panoramic view of wooded hillsides dominating the valley and overlooking the sea, the residence is a short drive away from Italy, Monte Carlo and Nice. The apartment, located on the 2nd of a 3 storey building (access by stairs only), can accommodate up to 4 people (a double bed in bedroom and a double sofa/bed in lounge). Secure parking facilities within the residence. A private pool is open to all residents from June to October and there is a tennis court available throughout the year.

Changeover day
Bookings are usually from Saturday 4pm to Saturday midday, although other arrangements may be made according to availability.

Outside
The residence is set amongst pretty gardens and has its own swimming pool and tennis court for the use of all residents. There is a secure car park within the residence.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is in Menton, which is 2km away. There are sandy and pebble beaches available. Various sea sports/activities are on offer along the coast (scuba diving, sailing, wind surfing etc, as well as boat excursions.
Golf
There is a wide choice of golf courses throughout the region.
Skiing
The nearest skiing slopes can be reached within a couple of hours. The closest slopes are in Italy (Limone) at a distance of 73km and in France (Isola 2000) at a distance of 110km.
Travel
The village of Gorbio is 5km away and the heart of Menton approx 2km, which can be easily reached by train, bus and car. Nice International airport is a 40 min drive, but there are also regular train and bus services linking the 2 towns. The residence can be reached by bus or taxi, but we would recommend having a car to make the most of your stay. Good bus/train services to and from Monaco, Nice and Italy. Special cars available for rental without driving license.

The Hanbury Gardens in Ventimiglia, The San Remo Music Festival (February/March), Cinque Terre, To the West - Monte Carlo with its world famous casino, palace and exotic gardens. Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 (May). Nice: stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, discover the old town and get a taste of Niçois/Provincial cuisine in one of the numerous regional restaurants. Excellent choice for night life and shops. Nice Carnival (16 February - 2 March 2008). Cannes Film Festival (May). St Tropez, Fréjus…… the list goes on! And closer to home, don’t miss out on the ‘Fête du Citron’ which takes place in Menton every February (16 February - 5 March 2008). This is a truly unique experience as it is the only place in the world that has a carnival with floats made entirely of oranges and lemons.
