Situated in the beautiful valleys of the Lot region in SW France, Bourrat is close to many sites of the Dordogne and Lot region with spectacular places to visit such as Rocamadour (medieval town built into the cliff). There are weekly markets, festivals and fetes throughout the summer to be found in most local villages and towns. There is a private family 9 Hole Golf Course on site and other 9 and 18 Hole Courses within an hours drive. There is a swimming pool (15m x 10m), boules pitch, badminton and table tennis. There are clubs and balls available for use and 2 adult bikes and 2 child's bikes. We also offer horse riding on a one to one basis. Also on site there is a 3 bedroom modern mobile home for rent with stunning views of the valley.

Changeover day
Changeover day is on a Saturday/Sunday in peak season. Arrival time is from 4pm and departure time is at 10am.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Hand towels (not pool towels), linen, duvets, pillows are included. Linen and towels are changed weekly or after each let. The property is cleaned before and at the end of each rental period, but guests are expected to leave the property as they find it! |

The stairs in the property are fairly steep for young children and the elderly. NB: some foot noise can be heard in the 1 bedroom gite La Buse.

Airports: Rodez (1hr 30 mins drive), 90k. Limoges (1hr 45 mins drive), 155k. Toulouse (1hr 35 mins drive), 143k. Channel ports: Calais and Bolougne: 560 miles (8hrs drive approx).

Nearest village: Labastide Murat (3k). Main Towns: Gourdon (28k), Cahors (33k), Brive (68k). Places of interest: Rocamadour (31k), Caves of Gouffre de Padirac (35k), St-Cirq-Lapopie (33), Domme (37k), Sarlat (50k).
Further details
Labastide Murat (3k), has a small supermarket/petrol st (which has a good selection), bakery, butchers, post office, bank (cash machine), pharmacy, tourist office, take away pizza and Hotel with restaurant. Larger historic towns of Gourdon and Cahors having a choice of shops, restaurants, cafes, banks and larger supermarkets.
Booking notes
To book a 30% non refundable deposit is required, the final balance is due no later than 8 weeks before the letting period, along with a damages deposit, which is returned after your stay if no damages occur.
