The Glaciere apartment is in the heart of the medieval Mediterranean market town of Agde within a few minutes walk of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and the central market. River views from the terrace. Fabulous beaches within a few minutes drive and very easy access via the mainline train station to Provence or Spain and direct lines to Paris and all northern cities. Just arrive and chill out on the terrace with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the hills of the Haute Languedoc.

Notes on accommodation
While the apartment would accommodate a couple with 2 friends it is more ideally suited to a couple wanting space and calm. Pets are more than welcome. Long term bookings accepted all year round.

This apartment is not suitable for young children.
Outside
The Glaciere apartment has a roof terrace with one of the best views in Agde. On 14th July you can often watch fireworks from your own terrace while enjoying a BBQ and a quiet drink. In the summer months you can watch the sunset over the hills while the swallows seem to dive almost into your wine glass. The terrace is ideal for intimate dinners 'a deux' or will accommodate 6 to 10 friends easily. There is a BBQ and the usual outdoor furniture: two tables, parasols, loungers (you're not overlooked so you can go for the all over suntan!).
Coast/Beach
The Glaciere is in central Agde. The nearest beaches are 4km - there is a very wide choice from the family beaches of Grau d'Agde and La Tamarissiere to the nudist beach of Cap d'Agde, with it's very swinging nightlife.
Golf
Two golf courses easily accessible. Cap d'Agde and Beziers, St.Thomas with its excellent restaurant.
Travel
Nearest airport Beziers 10km away, Mainline train station 10 minutes walk away, direct connections to Paris and Spain.
Distances
Agde is centrally placed for visits to Provence, Avignon, Narbonne, Perpignan, Carcassonne and Spain and the entire Cathar castle region plus the park of the Haute Languedoc.

Agde is a busy Mediterranean fishing port packed with cafes, restaurants and all sporting facilities on offer: water sports, riding, hang gliding, golf, cycling, walking etc. July and August are particularly lively with all manner of activities and tourist specialties such as exhibitions in the street, wine tasting, local produce sales, lively markets... etc. The apartment is ideal for those wishing to buy property in this area and very competitive winter rates are available.
