Paix d'esprit. Lovely farmhouse situated on the edge of a small, traffic free hamlet. Enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and vineyards. By car, the nearest towns of Gemozac and Cozes are less that 10 minutes away. They both provide modern supermarkets, pharmacies etc to cater for all your holiday needs. The larger cities of Bordeaux and La Rochelle are approx one hour and the historic town of Saintes with it's Roman Amphitheatre is less than 20 minutes. Talmont, Pons & Meschers are all also within easy reach. Wonderful, sandy beaches can be reached within 25 minutes drive and the beautiful Atlantic coastline of the Cote Sauvage is only 45 minutes away.

Coast/Beach
We are 5 minutes drive to Gironde estuary, or 25 minutes from the nearest sandy beaches at Meschers. If you prefer long stretches of golden sand and typical seaside amenities, Royan is approximately 40km away. The wild, unspoilt and rugged ‘Cote Sauvage’ is about 45 minutes drive and is excellent for those who like to get away from the bustle of seaside resort life.
Travel
The ferry ports of Caen and St Malo are approx 6 and four hours drive respectively. The airports at Bordeaux and La Rochelle are approx an hour away by car.
Distances
The nearest town (Gemozac) is less than 10 minutes by car. The larger towns of Royan & Saintes are approximately 20 minutes by car.
Further details
Modern supermarkets, pharmacies, banks etc can be found at Gemozac, or Cozes and are within easy reach by car. There are restaurants in many of the surrounding villages & towns.
