A traditional wooden chalet set in the heart of the French Alps. The chalet is less than a hour’s drive from Geneva airport and only a 5 minute walk from the Les Carroz village centre. The area boasts 265km of piste for excellent winter skiing and in summer offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits including golf, horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, hot air ballooning and white water rafting. Sailing is also on offer on Lake Annecy and Lake Geneva.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Guests must vacate the chalet by 10am. The chalet is available from 4pm for new arrivals.

Outside
Balconies on both the ground floor and the 1st floors. During the Summer months there is a barbeque.
Golf
There are golf courses in Flaine (approx 15 mins drive,) at 1900m this is the highest golf course in Europe and Les Gets (approx 35 mins drive). There is also an outstanding course at Chamonix (45 minute drive away).
Skiing
Les Carroz is in the Grand Massif ski area, and consists of 265km of pistes. The pistes offer a good mix of black, red, blue and green runs, as well as varied off-piste challenges. The village also offers a good range of kids clubs and ski schools (ESF and Nouvelle Dimension). For different terrain, the chalet is less than 45 mins drive away from Chamonix, Morzine, Megeve and St Gervais.
Travel
The chalet is very accessible and is less than an hour from Geneva airport and about 2 hours from Lyon. Airport transfer can be arranged at very competitive rates if required. Should you drive from the UK, it will take approx 8 hours from Calais. You can also get the train from Paris to Cluses (approx 20 mins from the chalet, with a good bus and taxi service - please note that taxi or bus need to be booked in advance).
Distances
Les Carroz offers a very central location, with Chamonix less than 45 minutes away. The beautiful historic town of Annecy is approx 50 minutes away. Also within easy driving distance are Morzine and Lets Gets.
Further details
The facilities within Les Carroz are excellent with a plethora of excellent restaurants featuring traditional Savoyard dishes, 3 supermarkets, superb delicatessens, outdoor swimming pool in summer and cinema to name but a few. In the Winter snow sports is the activity favored by most guests, but in the summer on offer is mountain biking, hot air ballooning, hiking and the like.

Please call Lesley to check availability. A deposit of 25% is necessary to secure your booking with full payment required 8 weeks before arrival. We can also offer airport pick-ups, child minding services and a catering service. Please ask about these services at the time of booking.
