Situated in the ski region of Paradiski (Les Arcs and La Plagne). Catered chalet in the winter and self catered in the summer. Great views across the Tarentaise Valley from the balcony and the pool area. Open log fire. This chalet is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the skiing or the many summer activities on offer. During the summer 1 bedroom is used for the owner's storage so only 5 available sleeping up to 11.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds (during Summer months). During winter months they are per person catered including half board unless otherwise stated. Changeover day
In winter the changeover days are Saturday. In summer flexible.

Heated Private pool (for the summer only) 7 x 3.5m half in the ground half out -lovely wood cladding, 1.50m deep, steps to access. Stone BBQ, outside table and chairs and sun loungers. Large terrace in wood by the pool area. Also small garden area where the BBQ is situated and another terrace. 2 large parasols are also provided.

Golf course at Arc 1800, 20 mins drive away from the chalet.

Skiing
This chalet is located right in the heart of the Paradiski ski area (Les Arcs and La Plagne). Over 420km of skiing. The ski lift is a few mins away where you have the choice to hop on the link to La Plagne or ski straight in the Les Arcs region. The resort is ideal for all levels of skiers or snowboarders. English and French ski schools.

Travel
Car is essential. Nearest airports are Geneva/Lyon and Chambery (winter only).

Distances
Peisey Nancroix village is 5 min walk. Vanoise National Park 10 mins drive away. Annecy 1 hour 15 drive away. Chamonix 1 hour 30 drive away. Lyon 2 hour 30 mins.

Further details
For larger supermarkets, banks and swimming pool - 15 mins drive to Bourg St Maurice.

Booking notes
A booking form must be filled and sent with the deposits £100 per person. The balance of the holiday is due 10 weeks before the departure date.

About the owner
Colin and Mel have been living in the Alps for the past 20 years settling finally in Peisey Nancroix. We have worked and skied in many areas of France but fell in love with this traditional village resort which has the added beauty of being linked to a huge ski area. Now, with our children we have immersed ourselves in French life and enjoy sharing our passion of the area with our guests, winter and summer.

Year purchased: 2002

Why the owner chose a guest house in this location
We bought the land in 2001 and then built the chalet the following year mostly by ourselves. We chose the last plot close to the forest giving us privacy especially as we wanted to put the pool in - it is great as we get fab views from our top terrace and late sunshine during the spring and summer months. We landscaped the garden but kept it semi-wild to incorporate the wonderful wild flowers we get in June.

Unique benefits of the property
Naturally during the summer, we have the pool which is heated to maintain the temperature when the outside temp dips at night. We also have the lovely garden with plenty of shady spots aswell as sunny ones, bbq and balcony. During the winter we are blessed with a great location being between 2 great ski areas. We offer the minibus shuttle to and from the lifts to avoid aching limbs. In the chalet the warm comfortable lounge with it's open fire and fantastic meals served always with a smile!
