Lou Prato is a comfortable well equipped, terraced family house close to the village centre. Outside the terrace garden has a pool with a swimming exercise jet. There is space to lie out sunbathing and a large table with gas barbecue for alfresco dining and a games room with table tennis. La Garde Freinet is a charming, historic village at the heart of the Massif des Maures, just North of St Tropez. The village has all the services that you need for a great holiday: markets twice a week, bars, cafés, restaurants, convenience stores, gift shops, a bank, the post office, etc. The Tourist Office with local information is across the street. You can stroll to the village in a couple of minutes for your morning croissants. The beaches around St Tropez are only a short drive.

The pool is alarmed in accordance with the regulations: it is not fenced. Patio furniture is provided and there is a large outside dining table. The private pool is not large as with any village house, but is great for kids and has a swimming exercise jet.
Coast/Beach
Beaches around the Bay of St Tropez are 12 kms away. The huge Pamplonne beach with its many and famous restaurants is slightly further.

This is a great area for cycling and mountain bikes: bikes are not provided.
Travel
Marseille and Nice airports (Easyjet, Ryan Air, BA, etc.) are 75 minutes away. Hyeres Toulon (Ryan Air) is only 45 mins. The TGV station with connection to Marseille, Nice, Paris and London at Les Arcs Draguignan is 20 minutes away. Car use is recommended. The house has a garage.

St Tropez 15kms: Grimaud 10 kms: Cannes about 1 hour: Gorge de Verdon 1 hour 30 mins.
