Our lovely villa has a large number of repeat clients. The open plan living/dining area has French windows which open on to a covered terrace overlooking the pool, with summer kitchen, BBQ and drinks fridge. The large mosaic L-shaped pool, (depth 1m to 2.5m) is surrounded by a paved area with sunbeds and is separated from the villa by a child security fence. There is gated parking for up to 3 cars. We are approx. 1km from the lovely sandy beach 'La Gaillarde', with restaurants, bar, shop and superb beach bar/restaurant. Only a short 10 min walk from the villa, there are a series of smaller rocky coves. We are approx 2km from St Aygulf, and 3km from Les Issambres, Frejus-St Raphael 12km, Ste Maxime 12km, Port Grimaud 20km. The large water park "Aqualand" (water slides, mini golf etc.) is 10 mins by car along the coast. Within 15 minutes drive there are 2 18-hole golf courses at Roquebrune and Ste Maxime. Further inland, the splendid Gorges du Verdon are about 1 1/2 hours away.

Outside
L-shaped mosaic private swiimming pool. 10m x 5m, shallow 1m to 2.5m in depth. Surrounded by sunbathing area with sunloungers and parasols, and separated from the villa by a child security fence. Covered terrace with BBQ, food preparation area, drinks fridge and patio furniture. Small garden area.
The villa, on a lower level has a small, independent studio with a separate rear access and garden area for use of the English-speaking maid/guardian. They have no use of your pool or garden.
Coast/Beach
The pretty coves of Le Petit Boucherel, and the more extensive sandy beach of La Gaillarde are approx 5 mins away by car, where you will also find restaurants, pizzerias, bars and shop (which stocks all "essentials" including English papers) as well as a Balinese-themed beach restaurant with sun beds etc.
Golf
Within a 15 minute drive there are 2 testing, 18 hole golf courses with great views. Roquebrune-sur-Argens 18 holes, par 72. Ste Maxime 18 holes, par 71. For the enthusiast, there are several others a little further afield, including the world-renown Royal Mougins in Cannes. It is also possible to purchase a discount card allowing 5 rounds of golf for 250 euros at a selection of courses in the area.
Travel
Nice Airport 70km. Approx 10 hours drive from Calais. A car is essential.

St Aygulf 3km, St Peire Les Issambres 5km, Frejus-St Raphael 12km, Ste Maxime 12km, Port Grimaud 20km, St Tropez 28km, Cannes 48km, Nice 70km, Monte Carlo, Monaco 100km. 1 1/2 hours drive away are the spectacular Gorges du Verdon, the great canyons of Europe. Sightseeing, walking, kayaking or swimming in the Lac de Ste.Croix (1 hour drive).
Further details
The famous village of St Tropez is just across the gulf and easily accessed by local ferry boats. Half way round the bay you will find Port Grimaud, our own little Venice, where one can hire a small boat and take a tour around its canals. Within a 25 minute stroll of the villa, St Aygulf has bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, PO and traditional French markets. Ste Maxime is a charming seaside town some 15 mins drive along the coast, with evening markets in high summer, and many nice restaurants and bars. Dinghies and Hobie Cats can be rented in Les Issambres port, as well as jetskiing / parasailing / windsurfing / boat hire etc. A short drive inland you will find numerous small vineyards, all offering tasting sessions as well as the chance to purchase their produce. The famous Pamplonne beach in St Tropez is approx 40 mins drive away.
Booking notes
Deposit of 30%. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
Returnable deposit against breakages payable on arrival of 600 euros. Locally payable extras such as cleaning charges and linen etc. are normally taken from this.
Guest comments
We have had many repeat clients for the past 4/5 years. They all commented on the peaceful, secluded location. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Having a security fence around the pool appealed especially to families with young children. Within easy reach of sandy beaches and local amenities.
