Les Huguets is situated in a ‘très calme’ secluded countryside location. The Chalet is secluded and peaceful facing South West and has extensive views of the Bouriane and its own private driveway. The ground floor Apartment, cool in the summer and warm in the winter with private entrance. The Studio has a private entrance. Private swimming pool, orchard, grassed areas, 4 garages and ample parking. Within easy reach of the leisure facilities of the Lot, Célé and Dordogne valleys by quiet peaceful roads. Surrounded by beautiful villages St.Germain-du-Bel-Air, St.Martin-de-Vers. The medieval market town of Gourdon is closeby and the other markets towns of Salviac and Labastide-Murat are within easy reach as is the bastide town of Domme and the 'city in a cliff' of Rocamadour. The fortified city of Cahors and historic Figeac with its ancient buildings are only a 1/2 hr drive away. During Spring, Summer and Autumn there are numerous festivals and fairs in the surrounding villages and towns

Chalet has 6 steps. Apartment 1 step. Studio is flat.
Outside
There are 3 separate large grassed areas and an area for boule. The swimming pool is private and fully enclosed (10m x 5m and a 2m deep end) with Roman Steps. It has the sun all day long, with shady areas in the garden and has extensive views of the forests and valleys of the Bouriane to the South West.
Golf
There is a local 9 hole golf course and several full courses within an hour's drive.
Travel
25km North of Cahors, 5km South of Frayssinet Village and 1km West of the N20 (D820). (GPS co-ords N 44 38.016 E 01 28.800). There are 4 airports each about 1½ - 2hrs drive away. Bergerac, Toulouse, Rodez and Limoges. Car hire is available at all these airports. Cahors is direct from Paris by Rail (5hrs). Les Huguets is 8hrs driving from the channel ports, A1 to Paris (outer ring road) then the A10 then A20. The tolls are 40 euros from Calais (Visa & Mastercards are accepted).
Distances
Near to the market towns of Gourdon (15Km) & Labastide-Murat (8km). Cahors, Figeac, Rocamadour and Domme are all about a 30min drive.

Frayssinet has a garage and a shop/restaurant/bar.
Banks are at Gourdon (Tues. market) and Labastide-Murat(Mon. market). Closeby at St. Germain du Bel Air (Sun. Market) has a restaurant, grocery store, bakery, butcher, hairdresser, post office, doctor, dentist, pharmacy & police.
Locally & within easy reach are the rivers Lot, Célé & Dordogne with their boat trips, rafting & canoeing facilities. Also several caves notably the Gouffre de Padirac with it's underground river trip.
Some notable nearby chateaux are Chateau de Castelnaud, built in the 12th century, faces Chateau Beynac across the Dordogne River, in the southern part of the Dordogne region.
Château de Hautefort, built on a stunning rocky promontory, is one of the most remarkable châteaux in the Dordogne region.
Other places of within 30 min drive are the Bastide town of Domme, the city in the cliff of Rocamadour, the village of St. Cirque Lapopie sitting high above the river Lot and the Rose Labyrinth and water gardens at Figeac.
Further afield but within a day trips are the ancient city fortress of Carcassonne, the new Millau 'bridge in the clouds' & the Cities of Toulouse, Brive-la-Gaillarde & Limoges.
