Local courses include St Endreol near Le Muy (approx 25 mins), Barbaroux near Brignoles (approx 30 mins), Beauvallon near Grimaud (approx 45 mins), and many others.

Vineyards abound in the region and most have retail outlets where their wines can be tasted and bought direct. The local shops in the attractive, ancient market town of Lorgues provide a wonderful variety of fresh foods as well as newsagents (English papers available), banks, supermarkets, gift shops, clothes and shoe shops, florists and pharmacies. The local market on Tuesday has everything from fresh foods to local provencal products, clothes, gifts, bric-a-brac etc; other markets in nearby villages most days of the week. Nearby restaurants include the renowned Bruno's (famous for his truffle dishes) and the Chateau de Berne as well as many less gourmet but excellent smaller restaurants, bistros and bars. For the true retail therapists, a trip to Saint Tropez will satisfy all needs!
