Our "wifi" apartment was completely renovated by the previous owners, who spared no expense (marble sink, burgundy stone tiles in bathroom, double-glazed windows...), while preserving the original floor tiles ("tomettes") and exposed wooden ceiling beams.

About the owner
My husband is French, I am American. We live in Paris, but Gérard was born here and Antibes has always been our favourite vacation destination. Swim, sail, relax on the beach, eat out, linger in cafés, visit museums up and down the coast...everything we like to do on vacation is right here. The other reason we love Antibes is that with 300 days of sunshine a year on the Côte d'Azur, we're almost sure of good weather.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
When we decided to buy here, I chose an apartment near the Marché provençal in Old Antibes because for me it's the best location. We have the market, the Picasso museum, the Cathedral, and the ramparts as our neighbors, with a sandy beach and the most beautiful port on the Mediterranean at the bottom of the street.
Unique benefits of the property
What we enjoy most is living so close to the open-air food market (fish, local cheeses, fruits, vegetables..all so fresh) and being able to go everywhere by foot, or use public transportation. How relaxing is that?
