Our bungalow villa is adorable situated in the Gard region in the South of France overlooking acres of vines. 3km from Ledignan, and 25 km from Nimes with all it historic sites. We are a 35 minute drive from Montpellier and an easy drive to the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean coast, places like the Grand Du Roi and Grand Motte.
The areas accessible from our villa include the vineyards of the Côtes du Rhone, historical sites such as Pont du Gard, and the once papal seat Avignon, plus the idyllic town of Uzes, perfect for sumptuous lazy evening meals. If peace and quiet are your thing then why not relax around the pool or sun terrace whilst the children are safe to play in the large garden. If you wish to enjoy the France as it should be seen our villa is the perfect location.

Changeover day
On your changeover day we ask for the clients vacating the villa to do so by 10.30 am, this is to allow our cleaners time to check and clean the villa ahead of our new guests arrival. Check in is preferably at 2.30 in the afternoon.

Bedrooms: There are 2 double rooms and 2 rooms with twin beds.
Bedroom 1 is on suite with a shower, hand basin and toilet.
Bedroom 2 is a large bedroom with extensive wardrobe space and has excellent views.
All bedrooms are furnished to the highest standard.
Bathrooms: There are ample bathroom facilities for the comfort and convenience of all guests when the house is fully occupied.
There are two spacious communal bathrooms and two communal toilets. Plus the ensuite bathroom connected to the master bedroom.
Kitchen: Spacious and well designed, the modern oak fitted kitchen is well equipped with all amenities that a modern day family require such as dishwasher, a microwave, a stylish oven and hob and a fridge freezer. All the necessary cooking and serving equipment.
Utility Room: The fridge freezer and washing machine can be found in the utility room along with the suitable drying area for swimwear.
Living Rooms: The living room is large and spacious with a TV area and a reading or relaxation area, From the living room you can walk out through the patio doors onto the veranda and decked sun area situated next to and leading down to the pool.
Other: The interior is best described as modern. Designed with both style and comfort in mind, the furniture and furnishings reflect that this property is our pride and joy and we feel the house has an exceptionally high standard of living accommodation.

The property will be imaculate upon your arrival, all bed linen is provided along with towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
The bungalow has extensive grounds and is completely enclosed making it incredibly safe for children of any age It is perfect for children with bags of energy. The pool area is fully secure with fencing completely enclosing it fully compliant with all safety regulations.

Private driveway with parking for up to 6 cars, huge decked sun terrace with table and chairs, large private pool with sun loungers.

Coast/Beach
The Grand Motte and Mediterranean coastline is about a 30 minute drive away and has exceptional beaches that are ideal for young children and exceptional fish restaurants.

Special interest holidays
The Point du Gard and the Camargue are general renowned for their outstanding beauty, ideal for artists and walkers. The region is a magnet for wine connoisseurs and we are very close to many good vineyards. Kayaking, white water rafting and rock climbing are all avaliable nearby.

Travel
9 hours from Calais, 6hrs Paris, 3.5 hrs Geneva, 3 hrs Barcelona, Nice about 3 hrs. The roads in Languedoc are generally quiet. Economy flights are available with Ryanair direct to Nimes flights are also available to Montpellier, Lyon or Nice. Coupled with a hire car, this may be a cheaper option then driving. Of course, bringing your own car allows repatriation of more local wine.
The French rail system is generally clean and efficient, but not cheap. The TGV service from Paris to Montpellier.

Distances
3km from Ledignan,25Km from Nimes through the winding vineyards and within easy reach of the sandy beaches of the Grand Motte on the Mediterranean coast. Historic sites such as the once papal seat of Avignon are only a 45 minute drive, The Grand Du Roi, 40 minute drive, Uzes, 20 minute drive, The Point Du Gard, 30 minute drive and Montpellier for that all important shopping trip, 35 minutes drive.

Further details
The property is a short distance from the charming local village of Ledignan, where you can find all your everyday amenities (supermarket, tabac, pharmacy, bank, post office, restaurants and bars etc). There is an abundance of good quality restaurants to be found in the surrounding villages and towns.

Booking notes
We require a 30% deposit to confirm booking and the balance to be paid in full 2 months before arrival date. We ask for a £300 deposit that is paid before arrival, this will be refunded in full if no breakages have occurred. If in the event of cancellations, deposits will be repaid as follows: 0-3 weeks before arrival no deposit: 4-5 weeks 25%: 6-7 weeks 50%: 8 weeks prior full refund.
