Run by husband and wife team Jack and Kathy Russell, who live here year round with their 2 cocker spaniels, the aim of Chalet Russell is to provide holidays, mainly for families and small groups that really meet the individual’s needs. Built in 1829 Chalet Russell is a traditional Savoyarde farmhouse that has been carefully modernised with sympathy to its history while providing up to date comfortable accommodation. It is located on the route from the main village centre to the ruins of the Abbey. In approx 7mins it is possible to walk to the village centre where you can find a selection of bars, shops and restaurants. The village has built up from its traditional farming background and now has a mixture of French ‘locals’ and English and Dutch ex-pats. Situated on the main route between the Autoroute blanche in the south and Lac Leman in the North its location is ideal for a huge range of summer and winter activities.

Within 10mins it is possible not only to reach the village ski area but also the Ardent lift giving access to the huge ski field of the Porte Soleil – 650km of linked piste covering 12 resorts on the Swiss French border. Providing a vast playground for skiers and boarders of all abilities
Assistance with pre arranged lift passes, equipment hire and lessons as required is an integral part of your holiday.
Daily piste transfers included in all winter holidays.

Nearest airport Geneva approx 80 mins transfer - transfers and daily activity transport included in winter season holidays and summer inclusive package. All transport provide in our own four wheel drive mini-bus. Child seats and boosters provided as required. Summer transport deal available.

In summer this area offers endless mountain bike and walking tracks and trails with many lifts giving access to the high mountain areas. The range of other summer sports – rafting, sailing, parascending to name a few is vast and we are always on hand to help organise activities for you.
