The property is situated in the beautiful pourpre countryside with far reaching views and clean crisp air. It is situated 5 minutes from the bustling town of Mussidan which has all the amenities necessary to enjoy your stay including a Saturday market, large supermarkets and several lovely restaurants. The 9m x 4.5m swimming pool has plenty of sunbeds and parasols. A welcome pack will be waiting for you on arrival, including wine, bread, eggs and cheese. There are plenty of oak beams, and stone walls and the whole cottage is spacious and comfortably furnished. The pool is for sole use of our guests and is fenced and alarmed for safety. The village of Issac has a restaurant/bar/shop run by a lovely French couple. It is two minutes by car or if you fancy it a 30 minute walk or a cycle.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Winter lets are available and prices are negotiable depending on numbers of clients and duration of stay. We also offer a 2 person discount.
Changeover day
Changeover days are Saturdays, arriving at 4 pm and departing at 10 am, although we can be flexible.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 is a double room with a king sized bed and plenty of clothes storage space. Bedroom 2 is a twin. Bedroom 3 is a double and situated on the ground floor. Bedroom 4 is in the attached annexe and is a double. Bedroom 5 is twin and in annexe. |
| Bathrooms: | Fully fitted shower room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. The annexe has a fully fitted bathroom with separate shower cubicle. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has all the amenities including a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and fridge/freezer and is open plan so you can entertain your guests from the kitchen. There is a fully fitted kitchen in the annexe with oven and washer. |
| Living Rooms: | The large lounge has satellite TV, DVD, video, comfortable sofas and a feature fireplace with logburner. It has a galleried oak landing overlooking the room. Additional to this there is a separate lounge in the annexe also with satellite TV. |
| Other: | If you have young children who may get bored on a rainy day, there is also a playroom complete with a TV - DVDs only, DVD player, sony playstation and several toys. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels - including pool towels - and linen are included. |
Notes on accommodation
The cottage has stone floors and is very cool in the summer time. Fans are available on request.
Outside
The swimming pool is 9m x 4.5m and conforms to standard for safety, having a fence and an alarm. There is a BBQ, sunbeds and parasols. The garden is mostly laid to lawn and there is a boules pitch and a table tennis table. If we are unavailable please note that we have sister properties - details on request.
Coast/Beach
There is a recreational lake which is approximately 20 minutes away. The nearest beaches are west of Bordeaux, approx 1 1/2 hours away.
Golf
There are several golf courses nearby.
Travel
Bergerac is approx 20 minutes and Bordeaux approx 1 hr 20 minutes on the paege.
St Malo is approx 6 hours drive.
Calais 10 hours drive.
Car hire is essential.
Distances
The historic town of Sarlat is approx 2 hours away, as is the medieval town of Domme which overlooks the beautiful Dordogne river and has caves to explore. Wine tasting is on offer at St Emilion which is 40 minutes drive. The wonderful town of Bergerac is 20 minutes drive and has jazz festivals, lots of lovely pavement cafes and restaurants and a medieval square. There is canoeing and boat trips aplenty.
Further details
In Mussidan which is 5 mins drive, there are banks, wine caves, several large supermarkets, a museum and restaurants. On Saturday mornings, there is a large market selling anything from clothes to cauliflowers. The owners are discreetly on site and available for advice on local restaurants and sites to visit. Please also note we have 2 sister properties, please inquire.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is requested at time of booking, with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival, together with a returnable damage deposit of £200.
