3 well equipped cottages - 3 bedroom cottage with 2 en suite master bedrooms, one twin, a 2 bedroom cottage and a 1 bedroom cottage; sleep up to 16 people and can be rented as a whole or individual units. We have baby equipment including cots. Each cottage has a fully fitted and equipped gourmet kitchens, luxious bathrooms, beautifully appointed bedrooms with best quality bedding (we offer a linen service and cleaning). We are located in the village near the river and vineyards and offer wonderful walks and cycling A holiday in one of our cottages offers you a peaceful break with lots of interesting places to visit, a chance to taste the local wines and excellent restaurants nearby

Maison Doiseau at Vrigny
Non-refundable deposit of £100 per week required at time of booking, the balancewill be paid 6 weeks before your holiday. Please email me for a booking form. Prices include heating and light, cooking and water, but not bed linen and towels (avaiable to hire) or terminal cleaning.
Prices include elecctricity and water including heating; logs for the open fireplace are £20 a week Linen extra £30 per double bed; cleaning £50. People are very welcome to bring their own linen and to clean the cottage when they leave. The cottages are always inspected so please be assured they will be in good condition when you arrive, if you have any problem we will do our best to rectifiy this as soon as possible.
When you have paid for your holiday you will receive a pack with directions, loads of information about the cottage and the region etc.

Lovely restored cottage with 3 bedrooms for two/three couples with children has recently been extended and restored. 2 minutes from lovely vineyard walks and the river Cher and 5 minutes from village shops in St. George’s sur Cher / Francueil. Situated in the beautiful Loire Valley just 10 minutes drive from the famous Chateau de Chenonceau, this was the original farmhouse occupied by the grandmother. Restored to the highest quality whilst retaining the original features, with two en suite bedrooms and a twin bedroom, shower room and two downstairs toilets one fitted with a razor point. Living room with open fireplace, bed-settee and armchairs, TV / video and radio / CD player. Lovely big kitchen diner with recently installed electric hob and two ovens. Utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine. Own patio furniture and BBQ, large shared and enclosed garden. Three bedrooms two en-suite; bedroom 1 has a separate stair case from bedrooms 2 and 3 which are accessed through the old part of the cottage. Bedroom three is newly built lovely light room with en suite bath.. We have 2 single beds which can be zipped to make a third double bed, this room is suitable for children and has a cot. Beds a equipped with duvets and English pillows, non-allergic available, linen service available. We also have for additional cost the option of a Californian goose-down bed topper.

Romantic cottage for two situated in the orchard at Vrigny close to Chateau de Chenonceau, Amboise and Montrichard in the Loire Valley, with a sunny patio and pretty mezzanine bedroom; two minutes from lovely vineyards walks and from the river Cher, Five minutes walk from village shops in St. George’s sur Cher, wonderfully placed for walking, cycling and generally enjoying the countryside as well as being centrally located for the chateau and vineyards. The Barn is secluded and separated from our two other cottages at Vrigny and is therefore ideal for a couple hoping for a private and romantic holiday. Romantic double bedroom on the mezzanine floor, cot available if required. Living room with a picture window overlooking its own private patio, comfortable armchairs and table and chairs, TV and video, radio/CD player. Well fitted kitchen - washing machine, fridge, electric oven and built in hob and microwave. Nice modern shower room and WC. Under floor heating. This cottage is really luxurious, more spacious than La Grange with 2 double bedrooms one with en-suite shower-room the other with a private bathroom; both bedrooms with corner sitting room for privacy.
We have a range of bicycles for our guests to use at their pleasure. They are maintained by the local cycle shop so in good order, We are on the edge of the vineyards and so have lovely walks here and by the river Cher. Maison Doiseau has a large enclosed garden with plenty of garden furniture; there are two large walnut trees and apple trees, plus space to play ball or boules.
We offer in all 6 comfortable character cottages all owned and carefully maintained by us. We are situated in 3 locations near the castles close to Chenonceaux east of Tours well located for exploring this lovely historic region of France.

Location Information: Loire Valley central region. Our cottages are situated in the heart of the Loire Valley chateau region valley of the kings, so are well placed for visiting the historic castles and towns of Chenonceaux, Chambord, Villandry, Azay-sur-Cher and Chinon and many others as well as the interesting towns on the river Loire including Amboise, Blois, Tours and Saumur. Our region is also famous for its Touraine Wines especially Vouvray, Chinon and Bourgueil. Our local village wines are Gamay and Sauvignon and very good they are too. We are also within a day trip of Sancerrre and Pouilly if you are keen to taste the Loire Valley wines, especially now the Autiroute A85 has been completed.
