La Vierge gite faces south overlooking the communal enclosed garden, swings, so is particularly suited to families with younger children. There is a large window and double window/door which makes this a very sunny cottage, but the thick stone walls keep the cottage cool in the heat of the summer. Exposed beams and original features create a characterful family self catering holiday gite with the conveniences of home. Outside is your own terrace, a real sun trap, with barbecue, garden tables, chairs and parasol.

Changeover for Vierge is Friday but we have other cottages with different days.

we have travel cots, highchairs and stairgates. We have other items such as a potty, child toilet seat, booster seat, bedguards, baby monitors, sterilisers and toddler step available all free of charge. The games room has table tennis table and bar football and the gite has a selection of books and board games. We can also loan you dvds. The games room has sofas and tables and chairs so it has a 'club house' feel - great for the older ones to hang out.
Booking notes
On booking we will require a £200 deposit and a completed booking form. full payment is due 10 weeks prior to arrival. Payment is in sterling or euros.

First time we have holidayed in a group of gites. Our children got on well with the others and loved the pool. The organised activities - teddy bears
picnics, pottery and vine walk went off very well and we wished we had done the vine walk earlier ! Chris and wendy are a great source of local info,
imparted in a most pleasant manner. The social aspect of the group of gites was just the right blend for us. The pizza evenings were great meeting
points to swap ideas etc. Very many thanks for a super holiday.
we have been to france now for the last 4 years and this is the first time we have stayed in a gite with other properties and families. We received a warm welcome & our gite was clean, comfortable & well stocked. The kids particularly loved this holiday as they have made friends with the other children staying in the gites & have enjoyed the pool & garden, they want to return next year ! The other families were friendly and we enjoyed a couple of bbq and pizza nights.

About the owner
We have been living in France offering self catering family friendly gites for rental since 1996. We have therefore gained a wealth of experience in what makes the perfect self catering, child friendly and family friendly gite holiday. We also have two young children of our own so fully understand the needs of the family when booking a rental property in France. Wendy has become a registered child minder here in France so can now not only offer the evening babysitting but a day time creche service too. Our boys love having so many new friends to play with and are very sociable. Our guests enjoyment is extremely important to us, if you have a question, just ask we will be honest.
