2 spacious well kept 1 bedroom apartments both of 38 square metres located in the L'Olympic residence block, directly opposite each other on the 7th floor of the pleasant, lift served, residence with direct access from the ski/boot room onto the slopes. Both apartments are fully equipped for 2/6 people. Situated in Val Thorens, the highest resort in Europe, the snow is assured and the season frequently runs from late November until early May. This year the season is due to start on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of November.

Living Rooms: Spacious double aspect room with patio door to the balcony which offers views of the moutains and the resort, kitchen and bedroom. Dining table seats 6, double sofa bed, large built in storage cupboard, Flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, radio.
Other: Additional storage cupboard in hallway.
Secure Ski and boot lockers situated on the lower ground floor of the block.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Duvets, blankets and pillows provided.
Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels.

As above, almost identical apartment just across the communal hallway, this apartment has a slighty different layout, the patio door is the bedroom leading to the balcony which, offers stunning views across the mountains.

Skiing
The Val Thorens ski/board area is situated between 2000-3230 meters, so thanks to the high altitude fantastic snow conditions a long season is assured. There are runs for all abilities, numerous ski/board schools and a snowpark. Val Thorens makes up part of Les Trois Valees the largest interconnected ski area in the world with 600km of piste! The resorts of Meribel, Courchevel and Les Menuires are within easy skiing distance.

Travel
By Air: Convenient airports include, Lyon, Geneva, Grenoble and Chambery.
By Train: The Ski Train goes from London St Pancras International to Moutiers (37km away).
By Car: The drive from Calais is approximately 600 miles (9/10 hours).

Further details
Val Thorens is also a vibrant summer destination open this coming season from 8 July until 2 September. Activities include mountain biking with over 200kms of paths and several major races organised over distances of 3k to 105k! Hiking and trekking with 43 routes over 300kms of marked paths. Some of the ski lifts are open and walkers and bikers are able to use them. In addition paragliding, canyoning, rafting and tennis are also available.
