Sevenne is an ideal place to relax and recharge the batteries. Although we are deep in the heart of the unspoiled Lot and Garonne, local attractions are not far away! this makes it an ideal base for day trips, returning to peace and tranquility after an active day. The cottages are adjoining, therefore ideal for families & friends to get together whilst remaining independent. The 12x6m fenced and alarmed pool, with raised sun deck, is lit in the evenings for late night swimming. If you are feeling active we have badminton and volley ball nets, 5 aside football area, a trampoline, darts, ping-pong and pool table, however, if a quiet holiday is for you then why not chill out under a willow tree or by the duck pond with a good book and a glass of wine. Sevenne is also available all year round. Thanks to wood burners / open fires, 150 year old stone walls and electric heating a warm and cosy welcome awaits in winter too. Cot/ highchair/toys and all linen included in rental.

Within the pool area there is a raised, partly covered, sun deck with loungers. Swimming under the stars has been a great hit with the children too this year. Guest comments
Thanks Sandie for putting so much of yourself into our holiday. The personal touch really makes a huge difference. Also the attention to detail was fantastic. The children absolutely loved their time here & don't want to leave! Fiona, Dave and family Dublin June 2012
Sevenne really is a lovely place to arrive to, everything looks so welcoming & picture perfect. There are several factors that put Sandie & Mark a cut above the rest as hosts & the dinner on arrival is certainly one. Hannah & Geoff, London July 2012
We have 2 young children, 4 & 2 and they have wanted for nothing- Sandie and Mark really have thought of everything, the trampoline was a massive hit! Sandie's silk painting was fantastic, the children (& me) thoughly enjoyed creating some works of art. Titcheners August 2012
We really feel sad leaving again, feels like leaving family behind! we'll be recommending Sevenne to all our family & friends and hopefully we'll return again for a 4th time!! Belchers August 201

About the owner
We are Sandie and Mark Clayton-Smith, Sevenne is our home not just a business. We have a wealth of experience of holidaying in France with our two sons, who are now in their 20's! We hope that our experiences, both good and bad have enabled us to create the ideal holiday for you and your family. We know how important your holiday is and our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, while keeping in the background, our roll is to be on hand if needed. Mark is an ex hotelier working in food and beverage. I am a NNEB Nursery Nurse and latterly worked in educational publishing. Previously the property was called "Canard Ferme" we reverted to the original name "Sevenne" so that we can be found on GPS systems and on Google Map. You can now see exactly where we are.
Year purchased: 2011
Why the owner chose property in this location
It took us 5 years to find our ideal home. It had to be somewhere we fell in love with straight away and NO compromises! Judging by the number of guests who are returning this year we are not the only ones who love it here! One guest described it as a "slice of paradise"! The customer is always right!
Some of the "must have's" on our wish list were: a large pool, within 45 minutes of an airport, easy reach of a major town, a village with shops for essentials, a hospital with an A&E within 20 minutes, friendly neighbours, lots of wild life, plenty of long walks on quiet roads and accross fields....... ALL TICKED!!
If you see more than 3 cars on the way to the village it must be RUSH HOUR! Here the pace of life hasn't caught up with the 21st century, yet we have WiFi and UK TV!
Unique benefits of the property
We have the recipe for a great holiday, whether it is as a couple, a family, or a group of friends. Our location is remote yet within easy reach of all amenities and tourist attractions. We have views of surrounding countryside, a secure and alarmed pool, a sports field so that the children can run and let off steam after a day sight seeing! willow trees to sit under with a good book and a glass of wine, a covered games area for wet days or if there is a need for shade, alfresco dining, a duck pond (away from the main property but within the grounds), ducks and hens to enjoy watching and for the children to feed and hunt for eggs(under supervision). Enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast. We also have a vegetable garden and our aim is to grow enough fresh herbs and veg to share with guests.
