The apartments building is located in the centre of the little village of Canaules between the Mediterranean coast & the Cevennes Mountains . It is just a 15 minute drive from Anduze ( the Gateway to the Cevennes ) . Anduze is a thriving tourist town with a good selection of restaurants and cafιs all along the main street . It really comes alive at weekends but is also worth a visit in midweek for the Wednesday night market or the Thursday morning traditional market . Also 15 minutes away you will find the larger town of Alιs . This is one of the biggest towns in the region and it has all of the facilities , attractions & shopping options you would expect to find in any large town . In Alιs also you will find a sandy river beach open June to August. There is entertainment laid on, easy parking and clear shallow water for swimming. Nearby also ( within 1 hour ) are the exciting cities of Nimes & Montpellier as well as the beaches of the Mediterranean & the ski resorts of the Cevennes.

Apartment 1

Security Deposit of €150 required . Some flexibility available on dates outside of peak Summer period + short breaks available during Winter period to coincide with various wine related activities in our nearby vineyard . Please see website for latest offers

Our NORMAL changeover day is Saturday and our prices are quoted for 7 nights beginning on the Saturday night. However, we are aware that the Languedoc region is very well served by numerous airlines flying in from all over the world on all days of the week with vastly differing prices, so wherever possible we do try to be flexible, but sometimes we also need to be concerned with 'lost days', so please do contact us to discuss any variations from the normal terms.

€150 security deposit required for each apartment occupied . This will be returned after final inspection provided there are no breakages / damages . If there are then the cost of repairs / replacements will be retained and the remainder will be returned .

Ground floor apartment with extra large terrace ( 46sq.M ) with view of swimming pool , kids play area and the Cevennes mountains in the distance . This apartment is bright and modern but it still retains the traditional Languedoc look with exposed ceiling beams . It has a large kitchen and dining area with a big table and 6 chairs . To the front it looks out onto the courtyard and kids play area . In the lounge you will find 2 large sofas one of which easily converts into a very comfortable double bed . The large terrace with traditional bbq is an ideal location for dining outdoors as it is bathed in sunlight during the afternoons and into the evenings . This apartment has proven to be very popular with couples and families with younger children as it is at ground level and it is close to both the swimming pool & kids play area . As in all the other apartments there is digital French TV & UK satellite TV as well as free wireless (WiFi) broadband connection

This apartment can accommodate up to 10 people. It has one double room with an ensuite bathroom & toilet. 1 twin room with ensuite shower room. A separate toilet in the main apartment area. A sofa bed in the lounge area and an extra mezzanine area that can accommodate 4 people in single beds or in a combination of 1 double bed & 2 single beds. The mezzanine area is set up with 2 single beds as standard but extra beds can be added as required .

Nimes , Montpellier & Marseilles are just 3 of the cities which are easily reached as well as the beaches on the coast or the skiing in the Cevennes. There is one small shop / bakery in Canaules where you can get your fresh baguettes , croissants etc. each morning . To walk from La Bastide des Lavandierιs to the shop/bakery takes about 3 minutes .
