Les Taboissies is a recently renovated 200 yr old farmhouse where successive generations have converted stables and barns, adding extensions to accommodate a growing family. The spacious private gite is an independent part of the farmhouse, set in meadow and woodland with a small carp lake, reached by a private drive bordered by mature trees and parkland. Peacefully located, within easy reach of the many places of historical interest the region has to offer. This is the perfect venue for those seeking a peaceful, relaxing holiday away from traffic, noisy neighbours and pollution. We open our windows and doors in the morning to the sounds of birds singing and bees buzzing and close them at night to the hooting of owls and nightingale song. Sunsets are often stunningly memorable with night skies so clear that if you stand awhile you can wish upon a shooting star. Here we live "the good life", growing our own vegetables and fruit and quite often able to share our crop with guests.
