About the area
As the flat is on the second floor it is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Whitehouse beach is 3 minutes' walk away. Readymoney Cove is 10 minutes' walk. The water, with its many boat trips, is about 30 metres away from the flat.
Carlyon Bay, Lostwithiel, St Austell and Lanhydrock golf courses are all within 8 miles.
How to get there
Newquay Airport is about 25 miles distant; Plymouth Airport and cross-channel ferry port is about 70 minutes' drive. Brittany Ferries run a service to Northern Spain from here. Exeter Airport is about 75 minutes' drive, Bristol Airport is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Fowey is a delightful medieval smugglers' port, which boasts a range of eateries to suit every pocket: five pubs, a Michelin starred restaurant (Nathan Outlaw), three other fine dining restaurants, at least six middle range restaurants, plus coffee bars and cafes. Its shops are delightful, and scattered among the up-market galleries and clothes shops are a butcher, a baker, a fish/wine shop and a deli.
If you wish to book, we will email a booking form to you. We usually require £100 reservation deposit per week booked, with the balance falling due six weeks before your stay.

About the Owner
We fell in love with Fowey in the early nineties - always swore we'd never return to the same place twice for hols., but somehow nowhere ever matched up to Fowey. We always had our best holidays here!
Eventually our careers allowed us to move here for good, and we just couldn't resist The Salt Loft when it came up for sale in 2005.
We've run it very successfully ever since, couples love its cheery yet cosy atmosphere, and the fact that it is slap-bang in the middle of such a beautiful place, yet in a quiet backwater.
It's satisfying to hear how much our guests have enjoyed their break, they always say, "We've had a lovely time!"
