Offering relaxed self catering accommodation in superbly converted detached stone barn on the north Cornish coast. Sleeps 2 - 9 people. Beautiful local beaches and rugged coastal walks. Discover real Cornwall, picturesque fishing villages ,wind-swept moors, lots of opportunities for outdoor activities such as surfing, climbing, walking, kite surfing, kayaking or just lazing on the beach if you prefer! Comfortably furnished and spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities and a luxury bathroom. Light open-plan living area is situated upstairs with views towards the coast. A separate sunny dining room opens onto the large sheltered gardens ideal for somewhere to "chill out" after a day out or enjoy a BBQ. Take a beautiful walk through the fields and woods to Crackington Haven. and We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay to the full so please no smoking in the house and we cannot accommodate pets. Mealhouse is a great base to explore beautiful Cornwall and North Devon.

Main bathroom with claw-foot bath, separate shower, wc and handbasin. En-suite shower room to bedroom 1 with shower, wc and handbasin. En-suite cloakroom to Bedroom 3 with wc and handbasin.
Kitchen:
Open plan fitted kitchen well-equipped with electric cooker with grill, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle, cafetiere. Tea towels and cloths provided.
Living Rooms:
Large open-plan living room/kitchen with comfy leather sofas, Flat-screen TV and DVD player. Separate sunny dining room opening onto the large gardens. Books, magazines and board games.
Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
Bedlinen is included but please bring your own towels. Towels may be hired at extra cost. Property is cleaned for each new letting.

Accessibility
There is level access to the ground floor and separately to the first floor where the main living area is situated. Bedroom 3 with en-suite cloakroom is on the first floor level. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are at ground floor level. There are interior carpeted stairs between floors.
Outside
Large private gardens on several levels. Walled garden to one side of property with access to higher lawned garden with built BBQ with further access to gravelled sunny morning courtyard (with access from ground floor bedrooms). Garden table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
5 minutes drive (20 minutes walk through fields) to safe, sandy beach at Crackington Haven. A great choice of beaches within easy reach. Bude beaches 15 minutes drive, secluded Strangles beach is 8 minutes drive plus 15 minutes walk, Widemouth bay is 12 minutes drive along the coast road.
Golf
Seaside golf course at Bude (8 miles) and St Enodoc, Rock (15 miles).
Country golf course at Camelford (8 miles).

Newquay Airport 34 miles.
Exeter Airport 68 miles.
Bristol Airport 128 miles.
Plymouth Ferry port 55 miles.
Car hire (use of car) is essential.
Local bus services can be picked up 10 minutes walk from Mealhouse.
Distances
2 miles to Crackington Haven, 9 miles to Bude 6 miles to Boscastle, 10 miles to Tintagel, 20 miles to Padstow, 15 miles to Port Isaac.
Further afield, the Eden Project is an hour's drive and Land's End is approximately 2 hours drive.
Further Details
Whilst it is perfectly feasible to forget the car for a week, no doubt guests will want to explore the varied attractions that Cornwall offers most of which are within an hour's drive.
There are numerous National Trust properties, the Eden Project at St Austell, lovely gardens, the wild, atmospheric beauty of Bodmin moor, the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac and bustling Padstow, sandy beaches and secluded coves, inland market towns, sleepy villages with ancient churches, the New Tate at St Ives and smaller art galleries everywhere, hassle-free shopping in Cornwall's only city of Truro, purchase sought after surf wear in nearby Bude and Newquay, visit King Arthur's ruined cliff-top castle at Tintagel or the highly-acclaimed newly opened Falmouth Maritime Museum.
Golf, squash, tennis, surfing, wind-surfing, canoeing, rock-climbing, horse-riding, ten-pin bowling, paint-balling, course-fishing and sea-fishing, cycle-hire, two cinemas, an all-weather family adventure park etc are available within half an hour.
Shopping: there is a well-stocked village shop and off-license less than a mile away at Higher Crackington and there are a choice of shops and supermarkets in Bude.
