The cottage is located on the edge of Metherell village in the Tamar Valley. It is only a one minute walk from a 15th century pub famous for it's wonderful food. This area is fabulous for walking and exploring with Cotehele House, Mill and Quay only 1 mile away. Other local attractions include Morwhellan Quay, again on the Tamar River and we are only a 25 minute drive from the historic town of Plymouth. The nearest beaches are at Seaton and Looe approx 25 minutes away. Tavistock which was recently voted the best market town in Britain by the Sunday Times is only a 10 minute drive.

Changeover day
Changeover days are scheduled for Saturdays, though this can be negotiated particularly out of high season.
Please arrive from 4pm onwards and depart by 10am on departure day.

St Mellion championship golf course is exactly a 12 minute drive away.
Booking notes
Bedlinen, electric and central heating included during summer months (October - April an extra £15 per week fuel charge payable to the owner on arrival). Basket of logs included for woodburner, further logs available at small extra charge. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, the balance of hich should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
