The cottage dates back to 1910, but having been extensively refurbished to a very high standard. There is a delightful courtyard garden with ample seating and a side gate to the Beck. A 2 min walk along the Beck to the village with 2 Inns serving good food and fine ales. Also there is a tea room/village shop. The property is 10 minutes walk from the Market town of Settle plenty of amenities inc shops, restaurants, cafes, local market, swimming pool plenty of walks and Settle Carlisle railway. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 with 2 bathrooms, large kitchen/diner, lounge with woodburner, welcome hamper on arrival, towels and bedding all included. Parking for 2 cars and walking from the door with the Three Peaks close by and a perfect location for exploring the Dales or the Lakes. Whether you want to sit back and unwind or explore you will love this cottage.

Unfortunately we do not accept pets or smokers.
Kick off your shoes and relax with underfloor heating and this property is cool in summer and warm in winter.

There is a £100 deposit plus a £100 damage deposit which will be refunded 7 days after your stay.

About the owner
My name is Carol and I moved to Giggleswick 10 years ago from Brighton with my husband and 2 children.
Interior design is a passion of mine and Sunnybeck and Bankwell cottages have their own unique style!
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Sunnybeck cottage is a lovely Victorian end terrace just next to the Beck. I purchased the cottage in 2008 and completely gutted the interior, in fact we kept only 1 internal wall. The cottage had no mains water or gas connected and although the cottage had a warm feel it needed TLC to bring it back to life.
A large extension was added at the back, underfloor heating, around sound, Italian porcelain floor throughout and a bespoke kitchen.
With the help of a wonderful architect we were also able to create an en-suite and family bathroom upstairs!
Unique benefits of the property
The cottage location is so pretty with a beautiful cottage garden at the front and the Beck at the side.
It is a few minutes walk to the village and 15 min walk to Settle.
