Our holiday home is in the Nautilus building situated on the seafront at Westward Ho! with floor to ceiling windows giving uninterrupted views across the bay from Baggy Point to Hartland Point. Westward Ho!’s 2 mile sandy beach is just a stone’s throw away and offers the perfect setting for a family holiday. As well as the beach Westward Ho! is an excellent base for a wide range of activities such as cycling off road on the Tarka Trail through beautiful scenery, and with the Royal North Devon Golf Club and the South West Coast Path on the doorstep and the picturesque villages of Appledore and Clovelly nearby, there really is something for everyone.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Friday but please contact us and we will try to accommodate requests for other days out of peak season. Arrival time is 4.00pm and departure time is 10.00am.

Towels and linen (except for the cot) are provided, including tea towels. The apartment is cleaned at the end of each booking. For two week bookings, linen is changed after the first week with cleaning by arrangement. |

Notes on accommodation
The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor. The large open plan living room with the lounge, kitchen and dining areas is on the second (top) floor. There is no lift. The apartment is equipped and furnished to a very high standard with all year comfort in mind.
Coast/Beach
Westward Ho!’s famous beach gained blue flag status in 2003 and is an ideal venue for surfing, windsurfing, sand yachting, kiting or just swimming. The North Devon Surf School is within easy walking distance.
Golf
The Royal North Devon golf course is less than a five minute drive away. The oldest links course in England and listed in Golf World’s list of courses as a course that every golfer 'must play'.
Travel
Westward Ho! is just under an hour's drive from Junction 27 on the M5 motorway. It’s just off the A39 Atlantic Highway between Barnstaple and Bude on the A386 from Bideford and then the B3236.
Further details
Westward Ho! is particularly well served for a village of its size and has 2 late night supermarkets, a butchers, bakers, newsagents, chemist, post office, as well as surfing, angling and gift shops. All these are within 2 minutes walk of the apartment. The historic port of Bideford is the nearest town with a shopping centre and a Saturday market.
Booking notes
Deposit of one third of the booking price to be paid to secure the booking and the balance is payable six weeks before the start date of the booking. For bookings within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full.
A refundable deposit of £100 is also payable in respect of any damage caused during your stay at the property. The deposit and any balance paid are not refundable if cancellation is within six weeks of anticipated start date.

I can see why you fell in love with the apartment and it really did make our holiday staying there. We would love to return sometime and continue to recommend it.
When we entered your property we were almost blown away by the welcoming touches that gave what was clearly a beautfiul apartment the real WOW factor. We felt so lucky to have found such a fantastic place, so well equipped and in such a wonderful location.
