'Little Acres' is situated 2 miles from the popular sailing resort of Falmouth and within easy reach of the Helford River with its exotic gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah. Nestled in a rural farm setting, 'Little Acres' is a converted granite barn, formerly the piggery and grain store. Recently converted to provide a character 4 bedroom family home, it has a well stocked garden, patio area and parking for several cars. Close at hand is the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its thatched pub and popular Italian Restaurant and there is a farm shop stocking local fruit, veg, bread and dairy products 100 yards from Higher Argal Farm entrance.

Outside
Outside there is a large patio area with wooden table and chairs (other garden furniture also available). Granite steps lead up to the large rear garden which is mainly laid to lawn. There is a wooden childrens swing/climbing frame (used at owners risk). A gravel drive provides parking for several cars.
Coast/Beach
'Little Acres' is within easy reach of the beautiful Helford River (approx 3 miles) with its unspoilt and quiet beaches. At Helford passage you can enjoy food and drink at the Ferryboat Inn or take the ferry across to the famous Shipwrights Arms pub.
The beaches of Swanpool (with its nature reserve) and Maenporth are also within 3 miles of 'Little Acres' and provide various watersports, cafes and the popular Three Mackerel restaurant.
Golf
There is a golf course at Swanpool which welcomes visitors - approx 2 miles.

From 'Little Acres' you have easy access to the bustling harbour town of Famouth, which is home to the National Maritime Museum, a good sandy beach and a large selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. The main roads to Truro (20 minutes drive) and North Cornish Coast are close at hand and to the west the Lizard peninsula, Land's End and St Ives (roughly 40 minutes drive).

I live at 'Little Acres' with my husband, 2 children aged 6 and 11 and cat Bramble. We have lived on the farm for 6 years and move out for the summer months. We have land adjacent to the house and we can be found here most of the time while the house is rented. We are lovers of the outdoors and 'Little Acres' provides a lovely family home with ample space for families in a safe, farm setting close to the Helford river. We leave the house as a comfortable family home equipped with everything you need. We understand the needs of families coming on holiday - you will find us approachable and helpful. We hope it will feel like home from home. This area is beautiful and unspoilt and we can provide you with further information on the special places and beaches to visit while you are here.
