"Lovely Christmas "
We stayed at Bojea Cottage over Christmas. The cottage was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations & a tree. Also we was left an amazing hamper with treats for both us and the dog. We had a lovely open fire which made the cold evenings perfect. The cottage has great outdoor space with a lovely decking area which we are sure will be great for those warm summer evenings with a Gin & Tonic. Bojea is in a great location, with just a short walk to the harbour. We really did have a great Christmas in a wonderful cottage.

On arrival at Bojea Cottage, we found it to be warm and welcoming. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and is tastefully decorated. The owners had gone that extra mile in order to make our stay comfortable and the wonderful welcome basket full of goodies was a real bonus. The cottage is in an ideal position, with just a 5 minute walk into Mevagissey and perfectly positioned for exploring the local area, with many attractions close by, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. We had a fabulous holiday at Bojea Cottage, and hope to return again, preferably in the Summer months, when we can make full use of the lovely garden and decking area.

Truly home from home. Everything about this cottage is 5* if not higher. Judy and Peter have certainly made sure there is everything you need and is of top quality. Don't worry if you leave home without anything, they have thought of everything and I am sure you will find it at Bojea. I would certainly recommend this cottage and cannot wait to return.

"Attention to detail second to none!!"
My family stayed at Bojea in Aug 2013 along with some good friends, on arrival we were amazed by the great welcome pack provided (including sausages, wine and olives!!). That was great enough but then on going upstairs our little girls all found a welcome pack of their own (crab line, bucket and spade etc) a really lovely touch. The house itself has recently been renovated and I must say it's been done to a very high standard. Every home comfort had been thought of. The owners couldn't have been more helpful on the lead up to our stay and even asked if we had little girls or boys as they have specific duvet sets for boys or girls!! Mevagissey itself is lovely and offers all a holiday maker needs in beautiful Cornwall, restaurants, lovely little boutique style shops, crabbing, fishing trips.... All in all a perfect place to spend your holidays, we will definitely return. Thank you

About the Owner
We are a self employed couple and live in Somerset.
We have married grown up children and a late arrival who has just reached double figures!!! (She keeps us young) We enjoy the outdoor life with our dogs. We have over the years spent many holidays in Cornwall and when this place came on the market we knew the time was right for us to Invest in this little gem for our later years whilst at the same time getting a lot of pleasure from it.
Year property purchased: 2012
Why this location?
We fell in love with the property as soon as we saw it. It gives you that feeling of being in the country surrounded by fields & Trees yet a 10 minute walk away is the sea...Perfect... We saw the potential within, as it did need a lot of work. The house was gutted, retaining the original floor and restored using local tradesmen and a portfolio from start to finish is on display within the property. We feel happy with what we have achieved thus far and now look forward to the house being filled with laughter, chatter and happy memories and the garden taking shape and producing colour all year round....!!
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Parking can be a problem in Mevagissey and we are fortunate enough to have off road parking for 3 - 4 vehicles...
