In the heart of the Wye Valley and situated a short drive away between two local historical towns, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye, Symonds Yat is a beautiful wooded valley overlooking the River Wye. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is renowned for activities such as canoeing, fishing, climbing and walking.
Many pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the local shop is about a mile distant. There's plenty to do for everyone within Symonds Yat from Bird Watching to Canoeing or just sitting in the pub watching the world go by.

Due to the elevated position, and there are two flights of steps leading up to the cottage. Therefore it may not be suitable for the infirm or disabled.

The garden is fully enclosed via a picket fence. The patio area houses garden furniture and a BBQ.
Distances
The nearest towns are Monmouth (5 miles) and Ross-on-Wye (6). Both have an excellent range of facilities. Hereford, the county's capital is 10 miles away. Walks, fishing, canoeing and many other activities are within the immediate area and other attractions such as Goodrich Castle, Forest of Dean and Horse Racing are within easy reach.
