The house is only 10 minute walk to the mainline station, from Waterloo to Weymouth. It is centrally located, with one parking space at the rear. The house benefits from two reception rooms both with TVs. You are located within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, shops, the train station and regular bus services to other towns. There is a market on Saturdays with local produce. The garden is laid to crazy paving and flower beds, there is a herb bed for culinary purposes. There is seating for six. Access to the parking space. The house provides an excellent base for exploring the Jurassic coast, the Purbecks and the rest of Dorset.

Accessibility
There are stairs to the front door X 3 and 7 steps down to the back garden from the parking space.

The garden is a suntrap with French doors from the kitchen, there are two benches and two chairs with two small tables and one garden umbrella.
Coast/Beach
Beaches are approximately 6 miles away. Three are owned by the National Trust, membership of which allows free parking. Sand banks is found by taking the chain link ferry from Studland to Poole. Weymouth beach is a 30 minute train ride away. Swanage beach can be accessed by the steam train from Norden Station, 2 miles from Wareham. All the beaches are sandy and well serviced.

Wareham Golf Course is 1 mile away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bournemouth. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. The Port of Poole is 15 miles away. Car hire is recommended, although it is possible to travel to many places by train or bus.
Distances
Corfe Castle can be found 5 miles from the house, on route to the beaches.
Lulworth cove, Kimmeridge and Durdle Dor offer beautiful walks and coastline, Kimmeridge is excellent for rock pool exploration.
The Arne nature reserve is 2 miles away and offers a variety of wildlife and beautiful walks.
Monkey world and Bovington tank museum are within 8 miles of Wareham, as is the Blue Pool.
The town of Weymouth with Nothe fort and the Sealife centre is a short commute by train.
Further details
There are two supermarkets within walking distance of the house, two butchers, a bakery and a health food shop. It has many restaurants, Italian, Indian and various public houses with a full menu. It boasts two fish and chip shops, one close to the beautiful Quay with its own choice of restaurants. There are some cafes, including the five and Dime which has, arguably the best lunchtime menu and superb coffee. The Rex cinema is one of the few gas-lit cinemas still in operation, with its own bar you can take your drink to your seat. There is usually two viewings and the films change weekly.
