Osprey is a warm and cosy traditional cottage that makes it a very special place to feel at home. The filming of Doc Martin with Martin Clunes has made the village popular for passing tourists. The views and scenery are stunning, the sea charismatic and the coastal walks fabulous. Local restaurants and pubs offer the finest in fish dishes, with the local fishermen still working from this pretty harbour. The fish market near the harbour sells freshly caught fish daily. The entertainment on the Platt comes in the form of sea shanties sung by the local and now famous ‘Fishermans Friends’, not to be missed on a Friday night! (in the height of the season). The good work of the RNLI can be appreciated with a visit to the lifeboat house on the Platt. Why not enjoy a 50 yard stroll from the cottage to sit comfortably on the Platt, watch the sea roll in and enjoy a glass of wine or two! Port Isaac touches your heart and once visited is never forgotten.
