Notes on accommodation
The property benefits from its own frape mooring and has ladder access to the water and the foreshore. At low tide the water level drops to expose the river bed. During summer months there is a jetty from Albert Quay which is close to the property. The jetty is suitable for short term mooring of yachts and motorboats.

Outside
Large private courtyard, with teak dining table and chairs seating up to 8 people. Parasol. Large gas fired barbeque. Bench seat. Due to the proximity of the waters edge guests need to consider the safety of children and minors, who should be properly supervised at all times.
Coast/Beach
Local beaches include Readymoney Cove, a few minutes walk from the town centre. Other beaches at Coombe Hawne and Great Lantic bay can be accessed from the south west coastal path, or by boat.
Golf
There are numerous local golf courses available for the enthusiast including Lostwithiel Golf course, Carlyon Bay Golf Course, Porthpean Golf Course and St Austell Golf Course. There are over 30 courses within an hours drive of Fowey. Further details can be found at www.golfincornwall.co.uk
Special interest holidays
Fowey hosts a ten day long Daphne du Maurier Festival each May. The Fowey Royal Regatta is a week long festival held every August with yacht racing, Gig racing, Red Arrows display team and a Grand firework display. Please contact for website addresses.
Travel
Fowey is approximately 155 miles from Bristol and can usually be reached from there in two and a half hours.
Distances
The nearset large town is St Austell approximately 7 miles away and Plymouth lies 33 miles to the East. The Cathedral City of Truro lies approximately 20 miles to the West.

Fowey has all the facilities associated with a small town including restaurants and pubs, three banks (two with ATM's), local stores, Post Office, delicatessen, bakers, butchers, fishmongers and numerous specialist shops selling high quality produce and goods. There are two yacht clubs for visiting yachtsmen and women, The Royal Fowey Yacht Club and the Fowey Gallants Sailing Club. In addition there is a water taxi and you can hire motorboats, canoes etc.
