The Old Shepherd's cottage is a recently completed cottage/barn conversion which sleeps up to five people. It is extremely spacious, open plan, granite built and quaintly luxurious with oak and slate floors, wood-burner stove/central heating and farm grown beech, and pine fittings. Situated just above Hall Farm house (a working sheep farm), right on the edge of Dartmoor and close to the beautiful wooded river Erme, this dwelling has its own large enclosed garden with garden furniture etc. The location is within easy reach of the A38 (3 miles) yet with the farm house is totally secluded and safe for children. Regrettably we cannot accept dogs as we are a working sheep farm and have our own friendly, working dogs.

Roomy, comfortable, accomodation; great wood-burner stove and wonderful surroundings. We were made very welcome and had a lovely short break.
Terrific week despite the weather, made better by the warm hospitality. Loved the cottage, the farm and the dogs - we'll be back!
A fantastic week with the kids at this beautiful place. There is so much to do in the local area and the walk to Tristis is easy to do and well worth the effort. Wonderful hosts and the stay was memorable. The dogs also provided hours of amusement. Altogether a great week.
